It just proved that Sakura's hands >>>>>>>> Rinne Tensei.

Sakura can revive people from death.

She should've been killed by Neji in the chuunin exams.

Can't do it. NaruHina parallels too strong.

wow that how early Kishi plan NH to be true... that why 'The Last' is plot hole that Kishi unable to explain in manga. Looking forward Naruto will change Hyuga dough.. And if this real Hinata is the first Kishi writewith the will to never give up. because later Naruto fight with Neji.

Not hating on Hinata or anything she's great, but when I watched Pain seemingly kill her and then see Naruto go ape sh*t because of her death, that was one of the greatest moments I've seen in the Naruto anime (I watched before I read).

Then seeing that she survived from a chakra rod to the chest literally destroyed that moment and I felt that was really, really cheap.

Just like when
Mako DIDN'T die at the end of LOK. That was total bull. Not AS cheap though.

If she died, I would have liked Hinata SO MUCH MORE. Because despite her shyness, when it mattered most, she sacrificed herself to try and protect Naruto in order to awaken a new power inside of him.

PLUS, not to mention she FINALLY confessed her love to Naruto and having her die after such a groundbreaking moment would have been the most epic, tragic thing ever.

I know even if she died, that she would have been revived by Rinne Rebirth, but the fact that Kishi had that rebirth jutsu in place, and she didn't even need it, and he could have just killed her off to make it awesome only to be revived (just like kakashi) makes absolutely no sense to me.

(then again all those characters getting revived was a cheap out of its own, but that's a discussion for another time)

Again, I'm not hating on Hinata, It's just my opinion.
Sines Hinata was always meant to be Naruto’s soulmate from the start Her death was never going to happen.

Nagato would just have revived and everyone else with Rinne Tensei.

Also Naruto sensed she was alive after Minato redid the Kyubi seal.

At least if Hinata had died she would be remembered as a fallen heroine, and not as a pairing fodder.

The manga would lose its *** appeal and the only female character that knows how to win polls.

I pretty much agree.
The story would've been much better.

While I don't agree w/ your post, I can see why you think so. the problem w/ Hinata dying in the Pain arc, however, is that she had no proper development or exposure in all of part 2, not even in the Itachi Pursuit Arc, so her death would have felt very forced and meaningless given the lack of development.

Kind of like Neji's death, actually.

Aren't you Hinata people sort of making @sses of yourselves...the thread maker isn't talking about Killing her off permanently...yet, people are getting defensive and bringing in Sakura.

Good point, but if she was going to get revived anyway, what's the harm? Just saying it makes the moment much more epic and tragic if Naruto for sure knew that before the rebirth, she was dead, AND he had to learn how to forgive.

Oh, I thought you meant for her to stay dead permanently, sooo .... I guess I agree then.

I did. But the rebirth thing seems unavoidable plot wise so I'm just saying it made no sense to not "kill" her before the rebirth.
