it went from teen titans to teen titans gooo! lol
My ****ing god teen titans go is so ****ing stupid. The episodes have no specific order or logic to them, all the characters have been super stereotyped passed their original personalities, and the episodes are more comedy than action

I heard the creators of teen titans go specifically make each episode as stupid and mindless as they can. They're doing great unfortunately.
Yeah I heard that too like wtf. Are they trying to make children stupid?!!? When I hear my little bro repeat some of their stupid shit I wonder what life means anymore

Lmfaoooo yesssss exactly. It's poisonous to child minds. I don't get how they can even watch that shit. It's pure stupidity
That's the point. It's mindless fun because it's made for children, not over analyzing high schoolers. Ed, Edd N' Eddy, Courage, Foster's, Dexter's, Lazlo, they all had their fill of stupid, mindless humor. Is it different now? Yeah, the jokes and specifics are, but the humor is the same: Stupid. Nostalgia creates a bias that the shows in the 90s and 00s were any less stupid. People who grew up on Betty Boop. black-and-whites and Looney Tunes probably said the same shit about the cartoons you love.

True but they don't have any serious shows like teen titans or chop socks chooks or even ****ing hot wheels. Who takes off hot wheels. Or batman. Or justice league. Cartoon Network doesn't have anything serious to fall back on.

*old man voice* Back in my day, Dexter's Laboratory had a pilot episode and was just now getting it's start. I watched it grow. I watched Toonami start too. It was hosted by Space Ghost and Zorak. It played DBZ as it first translated to America, Sailor Moon, Tenchi-Muyo, Rurouni Kenshin, the good stuff. Superfriends was still on, but it was about to be replaced by newer shows. Cartoon-Cartoon was a fantastic idea: back-to-back Golden Age shows, and pilot episodes of cartoon hopefuls.

Now somebody help me find my cane, I need my heating pad to rest.

Obviously their target audience is getting younger. There are still jewels in the rough but even the best shows they have right now pale in comparison to their heyday. The original Teen titans was epic and it ended on such a cliff hanger I was heart broken for over a year. I'm pretty sure Shaolin Showdown made it to CN at one point, and that was also an amazing anime-rip off. It ended on a pretty heavy cliffhanger as well, again I was heartbroken.

Teen titans Trouble in Tokyo predated Naruto's Pain arc and the FV in that movie is so similar to Nagato that I thought Kishi copied him. Lots of great shows in the past. Miguzi replacing daily Toonami was a travesty and CN Real was a tragedy of the ages. Since then its not reached its climactic times. I mostly watch Adult Swim now.

Anyone remember action league now? Naked action figures... totally unacceptable now haha.

To each his own :|
Ok sister. (Can't blame me since you never defined your gendar=D)

Steven universe is fine. I actually love it. Now gumball? I'll pass. And I don't even know about that bare bare shit.
I honestly quit that place since toonami stopped showing itself.

Just interested, what does nick have that's so good? Avatar is gone and spongebob these days is insufferable squid ward torture porn.
Nick tends to take better care for its shows. Ever since I found out why Young Justice got cancelled. I have begun to hate CN.

Because it's geared towards little kids, who like goofy shit and not serious shit? Go watch TNT or HBO.

I actually like a few shows on CN (Steven universe is actually my favourite cartoon rn), they're actually trying to pull back from their low, Adventure time is regarded as pretty great, along with regular show actually, in fact, they got three shows nominated for Emmy's this year (AT, RS and SU). According to the general public, We Bare Bears is kinda similar to Regular Show, and people find it ok, same for Gumball, where there are some pretty funny episodes apparently.

They do however have some duds, the worst dud they've ever had, that's Teen Titans Go, the worst show to ever grace animation, along w/ modern Spongebob. Uncle Grandpa is atrocious, but their crossover episode with Steven Universe was pretty funny. I've never watched Clarence, but my best friend (18 btw) says its a pretty ok, though alot of people don't like it.

All in all Cartoon Network's worst period was CN Real, that was pretty bad, as well as when they had Problem Solvers and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome.

So in my personal opinion, its not in its worst period, in fact its put out some of its best shows in the last few years, so yeah.

PS: CN>Nick
