In Fond Memory
You know, if the tides of fate had not interfered,
I would have definitely stayed with you for all eternity,
but the world has decided you’d be better off if I disappeared,
though I guess it goes to show not everything goes perfectly.
What little things we had, how little the times we shared,
I’ll always remember, in fond memory,
I just hope you know that even when I’m gone, that I still care,
even if parting ways will leave me forever empty.
I’ve never been good at saying goodbye,
and each time, it only hurts more and more,
but when I look into the sky,
