Intelligence alone isn't going to win a battle. You'd also need the tools to get the job done. Having a good balance of all the perks you mentioned would be best I believe.

This is also why Shinobi such as Minato, Itachi, Kakashi or Obito are considered some of the best, simply because they have all those perks at their disposal in one way or the other. They have 'balance'.

Obviously. But I think it's the most essential.

I think if you we're to put each one of those to its maximum (eg fastest speed you could possibly go or the most intelligent you could possibly be) speed comes out on top because no matter how strong or smart someone is if you can get to them instantaneously you have won.

Then again speed could turn into 'strength' due to simple physics as the Raikage has shown us against Tsunade

All of them are needed. But in the end it comes down to the battle situation. For example shikamaru has intelligence but that won't help against super strong opponents U_U

the most important is none of those anymore. the most important is having jinchuuriki, having dojutsu, and having senju dna. everything else sucks.

Speed.
Naruto is dumb but he has speed which is more than enough to beat shikamru who has iq over 200.
And the faster you throw a punch the stronger the impact.

EDIT: i wish it was multiple choice since i'd pick speed, intelligence and experience.

Wdf I'm tired of people calling Naruto dumb. He's not dumb at all, do you know how hard it is to do rasengan? And if naruto was dumb he wouldn't be able to make shadow clones since age 12 there are some adults in the narutoverse who can't do that. And plus speed shouldn't even be a choice, that's just dumb. Look at Obito vs Minato. Obito was a 14 year old boy who was strong enough to hold his own against A KAGE, sure Obito lost but he put up a hell of a fight because of his intel. And look at Shikamaru vs Hidan. Hidan is supposedly immortal and yet he lost to a 16-17 year old. Because of his intelligence.

Being able to do a rasengan does not require intelligence, but talent and skill

If you don't have power you won't be able to beat your opponents even if you hit.
If you don't have speed you wont be able to hit anyone and will be an easy target.
without intelligence/experience your opponents will always have the upper hand and you will always be beaten in the end.
Without versatility. well you could do well without versatility if you have a few good techniques. look at Minato for example we've only seen him use FTG, rasengan and a sealing jutsu as far as I know but he sill rapes.

My point? You need to have the basics in the first three aspects to stand a chance. Once you get there you need to improve one or more areas to distinguish yourself. Then the traits become more equal to eachother.

(I assume power includes the power and speed make use of techinques, since both would suck hard if you can trade one with rasengan and the other with FTG and still be slow and weak.)

Minds balancing everything Thats why Balance of everything come from Inteligence first (no one is born knowing everything he must first realize what he need to do next).

Naruto is a slow learner and has difficulties with anything theroretical. In my world that's hardly something a person you would describe as intelligent would sum up to. Also all you have done to defend his intelligence is to name a few techniques. this isn't being smart. If that was the case then being a good football player would equal being intelligent as well.

It really does though, you have to control your chakra to a certain ratio, and doing that alone is hard, but considering that Naruto has a shit load of chakra because of kurama (he had more then kakashi at age 12) so it was even harder for him, and yet he's still able to do it.

Not also equally though. Naruto is an example of not everything being equally important as his intelligence does not equal up to the rest of his feats, e.g speed and power

Against tobi, killer bee had to save him numerous times because he's stupid and got himself into predicaments against the jinks

against nagato he would have died had Itachi not come up with the plan..

They are ALL important in their own way...

power and speed alone turns you into someone like the raikage, who makes rash decisions that could kill himself

They're all equal.
Intelligence and experience is only useful if you have the strength and speed to utilize it and vice versa. Intelligence has received the rating it has because in fantasy series where strategy and tactics are abandoned in favor of head to head epic battles it has become a rare and often priceless skill.

Power is the most important, and I mean raw power. Afterwards it all depends on fighting style.
