Naruto is dumb but he has speed which is more than enough to beat shikamru who has iq over 200.
And the faster you throw a punch the stronger the impact.

A combination of versatility in ninjutsu and intelligence. You can be smart but have fodder jutsu like Shikamaru.

All important but I wouldn't say equally. I'd say intelligence and experience, they shouldn't be together as the'ye both very different though

But anyway generally you have to be somewhat intelligent to not fall for basic tricks and to know what counters what. You need to have somewhat speed or unless you have some ultimate defence.

And you don't have to be that Versatile as long as the jutsu you have is effective. You still need a combination of them all you can't completely lack in one area, unless you have some very special jutsu.

Intelligence alone isn't going to win a battle. You'd also need the tools to get the job done. Having a good balance of all the perks you mentioned would be best I believe.

This is also why Shinobi such as Minato, Itachi, Kakashi or Obito are considered some of the best, simply because they have all those perks at their disposal in one way or the other. They have 'balance'.

Well the only time it could be speed if if you have FTG because then you can get anywhere in an instant.

If you don't have FTG a body flicker won't help you win the match as what can you do when you get close. Body flicker isn't FTG so the opponent has small time to counter. And if you have none in all other areas, your done for.
