Would you rather be mortal with a short life span, or immortal with a lifelong disease that harms your body?
Immortality is the worst power that anyone can possibly have. Just imagine if you had it.
100 years has gone by, and you've seen several generations grow up and die, including your spouse/child/grandchild. Everything's going fantastic.
Until a certain medical fact comes along, the older you get the faster time goes by. Soon enough you'll never be able to form relationships, because after a given amount of time, this principal will apply to human lifespans.
Then, 5 billion years later, the sun goes to supernova, but it's OK, you've survived the first dowse of it. Then the Earth itself is completely destroyed, and now you're floating through space doing whatever you like. Hey, you might be chilling in a nebula, or floating on over to Andromeda. Who knows, you might get some sweet Alien babes from some random planet.
Until, a few trillion years later, the Universe shows it's fine entropy. Then, everything is gone, and there you float in a black, empty void, forever.
Just saying xd
I choose mortality.
You scared the shit out of me with that statement.....I'd never had thought of it that way.....now I kinda feel stupid for choosing immortality xd
Though, it does seem that you're confusing immortality with invincibility. Immortality basically means you live forever, you don't age, and are probably immune to most diseases though invincibility means you can't be harmed.
Being immortal just means you can't die naturally, I mean, if an immortal is blown up into nothing, I doubt he/she could survive. Just a thought.![]()
