You don't remember Christianity starting any wars? How about the holy wars? Y'know the Crusades? And how is it a mental disorder? It's their life style. It's like how different people get turned on by different things.(Ex-Tits,Ass,etc.) Homo's get turned on by d*cks end of story.

The bible never referred to Homo's at all. Show me a sentence in the bible that directly refers to homo's. People just started lying and using the bible as an excuse. This is why I don't believe in organized religion. And what do you mean stop saying homophobic? Yes a phobia is being scared of something but homophobia is a different thing "Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. It can be expressed as antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, or hatred, may be based on irrational fear, and is sometimes related to religious beliefs." You're the living proof religion breeds ignorance.

The bible actually refers to homos a few times
Just not as homosexual or gay because those are scientific terms developed in this era

Its a mental condition/ birth defect because the homosexual lifestyle is per versed and doesn't follow the natural order of humanity
I also said that's a different subject because there's quite a bit more to it than that so me saying "that's a different subject" I don't know what you're purpose is of saying "end of story"
No one is lying at all it says it there
It could be in different versions

Also please refrain from bashing me with your remedial insults as I've yet to bash you in any sort of way

And I'm just saying don't try and classify me as homophobic because I'm not the prejudice type

And misinformed people like you are part of the exact same problem. You hate people, who have been misguided, and taught things that are not the truth.

There is NO part of Christianity that advocates hateing people, and condemning people. There is no part that tells you to mistreat, or hate someone who does something that is wrong, or a sin.

You wrote a fcking essay bro dam. Anyways you're wrong. If you read the kings james bible the 1611 version. It has a part inside the book that's in between the old testament and the new testament called the Apochrapy. That was taken out of most bibles for unknown reasons. It says that "There is a time to love, and a time to hate, etc." It even says that there is a time to kill which I agree with. But of course in Church the pastor says bull shit like "The bible states though shall not kill" which is wrong. The bible stated "Though shall not murder" When it got translated to english there were alot of misinterpretations. And besides killing and murdering are two different things. Robbing and shooting someone is murdering, blasting a guys head off for breaking into your home and threatening your family is killing. Are you telling me God would send that man to hell for protecting his family?

We are behind almost 1,000 years because everybody who could've enhanced our life was thought to be a witch, killed, or exiled with no resources. All of our brightest minds were in the past

My opinion is invalid? Please. I've seen your posts on Religion related topics. You're the most indoctrinated of them all. I've seen you literally preach about God's will and acts, yet, guess what? They're not tangible!

Do some research, with the beginning of the power of the papacy came the fall of paganism. The library of Alexandria contained to our knowledge the foundations of hydraulics, calculus, and atomic theory (Derirum Natura). When the Christians razed the library we lost all of this. From what traces could be found we found those and many more teachings. Imagine all the other teachings we may not have had to found again had some fanatic zealots of Christianity taken out their lack of understanding of the world around them on the world attempting to understand.

Without Christianity, we would have held on to further knowledge.

Translation: "You believe in something I do not believe in so I am going to call you indoctrinated to put down your beliefs and make myself feel better". Ah Atheists, either they are nice people or completely disrespectful douchebags. Why do I tend to meet all the douchebags -_-

....... You really have no idea what happened in that era do you... None at all..... Heres some stuff from wikipedia, try to learn for once:

You can blame Caesar.

People say it's illogical to believe in god. But I say it's even more illogical to say all of this is a coincidence. Just look at how perfectly the planets are aligned. If we were too far from the Sun we'd all freeze to death if we were too close, we'd all get skin cancer. Or just be set ablaze. Even if his powers are exaggerated by religion. And some of the story's about him is made up. There has to be a god. Of course I don't believe in things like Adam and Eve cause that's impossible I can state why it is but I think it's common sense and unnecessary to do so. and also events like Noah's ark, etc. But w/e you get my point :)
Its against the faith to "pick and choose"

You have to believe what they tell you, and what you were born into without any knowledge of other theories/ideas

And honestly. Homosexuality have been around for a long time. Homosexuality is most definitely not a new thing. Since heterosexuality there has been homosexuality - just not labeled as such. If you look throughout history even, you see civilizations who accepted and even expected bi/homosexuality. The greeks in their military, through their social status and even among their Gods at that time (See: Zeus and Ganymede). There is documentation that in ancient Europe males even had marriage ceremonies - an emperor of ancient Rome (Nero) even married a male servant! Even most Native American tribes saw no fault in being gay and considered them holy, a two-spirit, because they saw then as holding spirits of both male and female and therefore sacred. Furthermore, there are several species of animals who have homosexual relations. We see homosexuality in primates, as well as a wide range of other animals, such as albatrosses, lions, frogs, etc. So yea if even animals do it how is it a mental condition? And what is the natural order of humanity? To reproduce, a man may reproduce with a woman but it doesn't mean he is attracted to her, hence why there are alot of gays who have children. It wasn't really seen as bad until the Abrahamic religions came around.

The removal of the Apocrypha isn't unknown. lol In my Bible class last year (Theology proper), we learned about that. Evidently, you can Google "Why was the Apocrypha removed", go even to Yahoo answers, and there'll be legitimate reasons as to why the Apocrypha isn't included in the Christian Bible. Just wanted to clarify that for you.

Sorry I refuse to believe in that. The only reason why I believe in god is cause I choose to not like most people who were born and raised to do so for a moment in my life I was actually an Atheist. I chose to find out more about Science and religion and make my choice. Blindly following something without question is ignorant and leads to nothing good. Just look at the Nazi's.

Religion isn't right , but it isn't all wrong.. it can help.. people shouldn't worship GOD based off of religion.
the religion isn't the first creation ever.. life is. people should learn from religion , not worship its ideals.
God is a character of religion.. the TRUE CREATOR is not in a book of religion. the true creator is beyond something that humans could understand. god is just a character in a book. how disrespectful to your true creator if you disregard the unknown into something that could be defined and explained in a book written by humans. humans are people that could not possibly know the things written about the creator because humans weren't around before the beginning of time. humans only think they know what they know. to not question the beliefs of others that you equip as your own beliefs is to be gullible . Life cannot be defined by a religion or any book on earth. Religion cannot be measured up to real life.
Life and creation is more potent than a secondary religion every moment of existence. Those who disagree are foolish in that disagreement. Religion can be learned from though. its up to people to use their own minds.

Nazis knew very well what they were doing. Pride and obeying orders were very important at that time.

The last time I wasn't to church in got scared because beryoje was chanting in unison like some creep fest

I'm on my phone
So I'm not gonna go through the trouble of getting the verses when you can easily Google it for yourself

The fact that you haven't even read the bible tells me that you will automatically be oblivious to anything I say so this argument is void

I know homosexuality has been around for a while it doesn't make it right
It doesn't make sense that humans were made to be attracted to the opposed *** for obvious reasons but homosexuality counters the purpose of genders and its clearly something in the brain causing one to deter from natural order

There are only three species that have *** for pleasure
That basically means that these are the only three species that can have some sort or form of love attraction
So all the other species are having homosexual spurts for survival and possibly confusion
You can't compare homosexuality between animals and humans because animals aren't in it for some love relationship
Completely different

No its not you just took that out of proportion
If you're raising a child
You would raise them I. Your likeness
That means teaching what you feel should be taught to them
Its up to them whether they stick with it

Either way you don't study the bible or having any understanding of it or Christianity
That's like just skimming through all 644 chapters of Naruto and deciding to argue against it and the author

But I've done nothing. I literally have done nothing and these things were handed to me on a silver platter. How is it a coincidence that I prayed for something and it happened when I've never said a word about it to anyone else?

You should look up the word coincidence. Joking aside plenty of studies have been done on prayer and you might find the results intriguing. For instance, if you pray for someones health but do not tell them, the chances they get better are not as good as if you did tell them. If you tell them people are praying for them that are not, they still have a better chance of getting well. I am agnostic if that matters to the weight of my statement. I do live my life, as most Americans according to the Philosophies of Jesus Christ. I Don't pretend to know if there is or is not a god, nor do I believe any man on earth has ever known that answer.

I really don't see how it's so hard to believe there's at least SOME form of intelligent designer behind the universe.

Take something as simple as a wooden wheel. If you were to find this wheel in the middle of no where, you'd come to the conclusion that this wheel has an intelligent designer behind it's creation, as the wheel's design is fat too complex to simply ''just happen''.

Now apply this train of thought to humans, their intelligence, the thousands of animals and plants with mind-blowing capabilities, the balance of the cosmos, or the consistancy of the sun and planets.

As far as I'm concerned, religion breeds fake morality. Just because your taught do good or you go to hell doesn't mean that is a genuine sense of morals. Now I'm not against that, it definitely works, it's just not genuine.

I've had friends who literally told me that they would be total dicks if they were athiest.

You don't need religion to see what kind of path in life you should take or what kind of person you should be.
Everyone is different. No one alive today is mentioned in any religious text. Those religious stories are all about dead people and or people who never lived. It is educational to read different religions though.
Religion should never be compared to real life. Humans existed before religion. In this life anyway. <.<
If there were no humans, then religion wouldn't exist, but some kind of creator would always exist as long as there is creation. You don't have to have religion or religion doesn't ever have to exist in order for you to believe in a creator. Because people come from the people before them, its normal to wonder who came before them. If people keep coming from people then its only a matter of time to wonder who was the beginning of it all.
