I would assume so yes. He can go km mode so that would mean if kusbina trained with the fox she should br able too use that mode too.

Yin and Yang have different properties, so it could just be that only the Yang chakra augments physical stats such as strength and speed, and augments the power of ninjutsu, and it would make sense as to why he gave Naruto the yang chakra specifically. Of course, this is just my guess.
