With over 300 million guns in circulation, if more guns equaled more peace the US would already be the safest modern nation in the case of gun related deaths. Instead the US has thirty-two thousand gun deaths every year on average due to gun violence. Other modern nations? About a hundred.

I don't think our guns should be taken away. However it should be made to where people go through thorough background and psychological test. I have a permit for concealed firearm and it just gives me a peace of mind to have something at home to defend ourselves if someone decides to try to break in armed with any kind of weapon be it firearm or knife with intent to harm or kill.

I don't see what's wrong with the death penalty how can you technically give the same sentence to someone who killed a single person and a sinister serial killer who killed let's say 20. And when they get out what makes you so confident they won't kill again? Are you really willing to take that chance? Death penalty sentences aren't given loosely and most times they're deserved.

Less guns mean more danger for innocent civilians. If people have the intention to kill they will do it and only criminals kill so give the victims the means to defend themselves so they're no longer victims. It's very simple logic, I'd have no problem with getting rid of guns if the same apply to the people who'd use them on the innocent.

Those so called mass shootings are basically always false flags, often even without actual deaths.
They're trying to disarm the american populus, more specifically they focus on semi automatic weapons (since with pistols you can't stand up to the military), for which the propaganda term is assault rifles.

If you look with any objectivity to any of these mass shootings nothing makes any sense, from what you are told including the whole charade leading up to the final "official" story. You can't get any faker then the acting and bullshit stories you get presented yet the masses blindly swallow it.

These shootings are also always in gun free zones.

Also they're propagating we're at war.. the war on terror, they're propagating that we should fear isis, cause they can strike any moment at any place. Now comes the question.. Why do they never suggest to arm yourselves? no it's always the opposite, "the easy availability of guns". Where did they get the guns in france with the so called terror attack? they are illegal there.. I live in the netherlands, i can get one of these so called "assualt rifles" with a few phone calls, nobody is armed here, only helpless vulnerable slaves.

if you figure the odds, with how many legal and illegal guns there are in this country, how many people there are and that are different groups. its only logical to figure eventually a gun will fall in the hand of a crazy person

everyone doesnt need guns though, which is why its harder to get them legally. but even if you are authorized and pass everything, nothings stopping your crazy kid from getting your gun and shooting up the school. most people who get illegal guns get them from gangs or buy it from a collector, which is a small majority till its illegal to have guns here

Honestly the gun situation in the US is crazy. Even if we were to make it so people needed to get a better background check or a psychological evaluation it doesn't mean that they can't go out and get a gun someplace else. We have so many guns in America that even if we did make this a requirement there is nothing we can do to take the other guns in circulation out and have them be used by legal owners. If someone wants to find a way to shoot someone or obtain a gun they are going to be able to do it, and even if we take all the guns away people are still going to kill others, there are bombs, knifes, and so many other deadly weapons out there. I'm really not sure how we as a country are going to come around and work together (lol) to come to a conclusion.

I guess the thing is there are so many people on all different sides of things, we shouldn't have guns, we should have guns, guns should be limited, everyone has a different opinion on the subject so its hard to get anything done about it.

If someone has the desire to kill another person they are going to figure out a way to do it. Gun or no gun.

Exactly, a gun is just a gun. It doesn't inherently kill people, the intention to kill is what does, a gun just seems to be the easiest way to do it.
