Considering they have the highest amount of gun deaths. You think it'd be common sense for everyone to take measures for protection.

They're also the most stratified country in the world. Crime goes up in unequal countries, so does lack of public health.

I doubt people would use them if the chance of the people around them having one is very high. Seems kinda suicidal.

No because people wouldn't mess with others for fear of getting a bullet incase it escalates. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Case in point: Recent Orlando shooting.
