Minato's speed isnt inconsistent, we just don't understand the difference between reaction speed and foot speed.

Kishi nerf Minato way too much in this war.
Examples.

1- he made Minato's seal disappear from obito without any reason to give it to Tobirama so he can be of some use.
2- He made Minato lose his arm and thus all of his ninjutsu and sealing jutsu! he is the ONLY edo who did not regenerate!
3- He made him without his chakra so he can't teleport to Naruto, so Hiruzen can have his heroic rescue and Tobi to teleport
the fodders using Minato's body

4- his speed suddenly disappeared to catch Zetsu and before it the bomb that obito attached to him.

In conclusion, Kishi has to nerf Minato so he can give the other Hokages some time to shine!
Also, to make the plot move!

For example when Madara tried to revive himself the last time it took like 11 pages, now it took him only 1 page!
so kishi made it MUCH faster just because he needs madara to be fully revived. Zzz

as for your thread in the first page, Minato was using his FTG when he arrived to the battlefield.

You should have looked at the other threads before you made this bullsh!t then I would of kindly had an argument about how you're suppose to introduce and not overwhelm a character.

Clearly you don't understand that, you're not a writer so stop trying to understand and just read/watch what he makes. If he wants you to understand then he'll kindly explain it...he obviously wants to lead his series with some mysterious so no one won't be hooked and stuck waiting a week.

Well I did read that earlier thread, and I was trying to show that Kishi is very incosistent when he's addressing character's speed. But you called me a 'hater'' instead. Maybe if you weren't so much of a fanboy, you'd actually see reason to what I'm saying

Lol Minato is fast but that dosen't mean that he can do whatever he want with his speed ,Minato didn't use shunshin against Zetst.
I agree with the point of Kishi downplaying Minato's speed but he did it to hype other characters, namely Tobirama & Sarutobi, also for plot.
U can't change the fact that Minato is fast just bcoz of 1 or 2 fails.
End of the day Minato can blitz 90% NV.

Plot > Minato.
