Kishi likes to hype his speed to the fxcking heavens, but when he should really be using Minato's speed as an advantage, he doesn't.. It's obvious Kishi does hype Minato's speed for no reason at all whenever he can even though it doesn't make sense. Like here:

Tobirama's shunshin (by feats) is average, but Kishi still feels the need to compare the speed of the both even when it makes absolutely no sense. But when it matters, this amazing speed that Minato has suddenly disappears.

here again, even though Minato couldn't use Hiraishin (presumably because it uses to much chakra), why didn't he use shunshin?. Seeing as his shunshin is pretty much ''instant'' and doesn't require as much chakra as Hiraishin, why didn't kishi make him use his shunshin there?

He covered a great distance with his shunshin NOT ftg, but all of a sudden he can't catch zetsu standing right in front of him

even with his godlike reflexes and speed etc. So it's very obvious Kishi hypes Minato's speed for sh*t, but he's still pretty inconsistent when dealing with ppl's speed in the manga, Minato's included!. So NO, I'm not hating on Minato when I point this out, and I'm not trying to downgrade him, Kishi is inconsistent with his character's speed period, so stop saying Minato ''shunshin blitz'' any character or whatever, he's still not being shown to do anything of sort

And I'm not a Minato ''hater'', I actually like the character and think in his BM form (with both arms), only Obito can beat him..

You shouldn't have to even say you're not a Minato hater, man. I like Minato and I agree with you, especially on that Zetsu thing, it makes no sense why Minato didn't catch him. Minato isn't absent minded either, he's a shrewd man, so he would't be the type of person to just forget to use his speed at some moments. Not only that, but he's wearing a KM cloak too, which should have enhanced his speed even more.

Tobirama's shinshun is not average.. its superior to the 3rd and the Shodaime. Just because all of them arrived at the same time doesn't mean their speed is the same.. it can simply mean they were discussing some stuff along the way..

lmao, you proved jack all wrong. His cloak moving in that direction could easily have been the wind and I had shown you a scan of Minato using FTG with his cloak moving. Your scan proves nothing.

To save Naruto against the trees it could be understandable since he stated he was low on chakra and shunshin requires chakra, but i fail to see how he couldn't catch Black Zetsu when he was just infront of him. Kishi is just as incoherant as always nowadays. Nothing more should be stated. Just like blind Madara suddenly blitzing everybody having a strength coming out of nowhere. It's part of those reasons that i decided not to even care about the coherance of this manga anymore. Kishi just develop characters according to plot nowadays
