I'm I the only one on the base that is pissed no major characters have died. None at all no konoha 11 no kage no kage body guards nothing. And now the endo are goin it's not looking like anyone will die.

You kill off jiraya Itachi nagato and all other bad ass chars before the war but you mean to tell me that ten ten or old ass oonoki who had not one but two meteors dropped on him will die.

Im kinda sick of this good guy crap where if you good in the war you pretty much protected from death, but the ultimate bad ass villan is about to go away because Itachi wanted to end endo.

Wars have casualties on both sides and for not one of the major characters to dies is complete bs to me.

How do you guys feel about this, and who do you want to see dead if you agree.

You're not the only one. I think it was only Saumi and her brother(cloud ninjas) where the most important people killed off. At this rate I can't see many major characters dying after all the missed oppurtunities such as Onoki surviving two meteors dropped on his head and running around like nothing happened. It wouldn't even surprise me if that Saumi and her brother get brought back.

There actually haven't been any important deaths on either side, unless you count already dead people(edo's). Tobi's side has only lost Zetsu fodder and the alliance has only lost fodder + Saumi who is fodder like.

Wars not over yet IMO.
As long as Madara and Tobi are still standing the war will go on. And were still not positive if Madara is disappearing.

I just gave-up. Its no point on stressing on something that's, maybe, not going to happen. I would just expected to be a surprise when it comes around, like Jiraiya's death.

Well they acually lost the original white Zetsu but I guess your right but in defense the bad guys came into the war using shinobi that dies already the good guys are using shinobi that have never known war and they are comming out just fine and dandy and if Madara does vanish with the rest of the endo I'm gunna be pissed tobi better kill someone damn it lol

But that's my point how you Gunna kill off jiraya all he like to do was get hoes but people like useless ten ten and old ass oonoki are aloud to live though impossible things, I dunno just kinda urks me (especially since I've been rooting for oonoki to die since the kage summit.

You don't kill major characters recklessly. In Naruto universe, death means death. The only ways of resurrection are though Rinne Tensei, which is highly unlikely due to the scarity of Rinnegan, and though Edo Tensei, which no good character would use. It is not like in Dragon Ball, where tons of characters can happiliy sacrifice themselves knowing that they will be revived shortly after. And yes, I prefer the way of Naruto much more. If you care to re-read the manga, the death of a major character is a very serious matter and always plays crucial role in story development. Allow me to elaborate:

- The death of the 3rd Hokage allows the return of Jiraya and Tsunade.
- The death of Asuma contributes greatly to the development of Shikamaru.
- The deaths of Jiraya and Itachi are turning points for Naruto and Sasuke.
- The death of Nagato allows Tobi to put his hand on the Rinnegan

Now imagine, what impact would the death of Tenten have? Nothing special, just like the death of other shinobis in the battlefield.

And from the economic point of view, killing a character is also decimating his/her fanbase and cut down the benefit from selling toys, T-shirts, etc. with his/her image on them. It also eliminates the further use of this character in following movies, games, novels, etc. Do you think Naruto can be such a commercial success through selling books alone?

All in all, I have never been upset by the fact that no major character has been killed. Quite the contrary, I love this. Because I know that Kishi loves his creations as well and only has to kill them in utmost neccessary cases.

Hope Madara gets a rematch against the Kages when (yes, when) he gets revived by Tobi, in which Madara actually gets to kill a few of the kages.
Edit: Oh, and I'm guessing Tobi's gonna capture Bee.

All of these are good points but the managa about to be over and this is a WAR people die in wars. It doesn't have to be ten ten but damn someone's gotta die. As for fan base jiraya still has his fan base so does Itachi. And death isn't that Perminant in naruto since damn near every character they faced throught out the series pretty much came back for the war.

With no main characters dying it's like saying hey if your a good guy then your immune to death in a war that should have killed a majority of them. Hell nagato and Itachi died twice and you mean to tell me oonoki couldn't die just once from two meteor being dropped in him c'mon son I call bull shit on that. I know the manga isn't very realistic but damn at least don't make it seem like being a good guy means you never die.
