The guy that animated Madara vs Hashirama in episode 368 is animating this episode and IMO that fight had some good animation but judging by the preview the animation isn't all that good but then again the preview was two weeks ago so they could have improved the animation.

Or its only 30 secs? We can't judge by only that

Man you're getting my hopes up.

Last episode's quality dropped right after the flashback. I mean, it was bad before. But I only noticed the terrible terrible animation then. If it stays I won't watch tbh.

I was watching some old episodes (well, about where the dub is at rn), I don't know if this is one of those anime they fix up for the DVD releases, but it's no where near as bad as the recent animation... it's gotten worse.

They are making shitty animation on purpose you see. Bco they want to lose their popularity and want to rename it from naruto shippuden to filler shippuden.

The fight was really dissapointing. The animation at times in the fight looked awful and the talk with the Sage of Six Paths had much better animation than the fight and it was mostly just Kakashi and Co talking. There were no extended scenes either.

In short Studio Perriot has screwed us over once again.

I agree! And the Sage remind of Hiruzen in his voice too lol....

SP gives better animation to simple talk scenes over one of the most anticipated fights in the Arc. Lets hope they don't do the rest of the fights dirty like this one it would be a shame.
