Does anyone know who they're both talking about? It has to be someone who lived either during or before Madara's time, and (imo) someone notorious to be able to use the IWR. My question is, perhaps there is an even bigger shadow behind Tobi, Madara and the Rinnegan?

Then again, perhaps they're both talking about Orochimaru (as Kabuto states, "his assistant"). But then it raises the question, how does Madara know Orochimaru? :|

Maybe if he said he was against tobi, Madara would not comply and some how try to break free from edo. If he finds out that itachi managed to release the edo, of course he would do try to do the same thing.

i'd be surprised if he doesn't make a return eventually, he's too big of a villian to be killed off so easily imo. he still has a chance to take over kabuto
