I'm having a difficult time (Avatar related)

Last airbender had a great story from book 1 - 4. Korra just kept changing, but the fight scenes doe.

Last airbender only had 3 books.

Like others said after the first season you won't see republic city for a while so you'll like it more. Next season you learn about the first avatar which i thought was awesome. IMO it's a great series stick with it, it's not even long.
