I'll probably hear about it on here. Either way, you can already tell it will only have canonical aspects based on the plot. The plot itself is indicative of a filler.

Well you only know the cover of it, not the story. Other than knowing what the plot is about. You don't know the real motive of the evil person. It's fine if you don't watch it. I just don't think it's fair to judge the movie, with out getting any further details of the content.

I suppose so, depending on who the main antagonist is and their motives. I just wish they weren't diving into a new plot before finishing the one at hand.

yes i would because without Kishi, Naruto would simply not exist!

we are not talking about something alive changing by itself, he is the one making it alive, if he changes his mind about whatever, you can like it or hate it yes but it's canon lol

canon = Kishi involved, it doesn't mean fandom approved at all!

He was also involved with road to ninja,...which wasn't canon. It being canon or not canon is a question of its relevance to the primary plot of the series. Kishi also created all those filler episodes..which were not canon. Kishi's involvement is only one factor in determining what's canon and what isn't

Actually I was referring to the plot of the film which is the more vital factor in determining whether it is or isn't canon. Don't get mad just because you can't seem to think of a valid counter argument. As vapid stated the villain and his goal are only foretelling of canonical aspects. If YOU want to have a "lets wait and see" attitude..I can't stop you but for those of us who choose to evaluate things carefully and plan ahead we're trying to figure out the role the movie plays in the series if any at all. With that being said using leading questions in an argument really just shows you don't have any real valid claims. If you're going to engage in a debate the least you could do is make a valid argument. I may not agree with shaz but at least he had a decent point to make about waiting to see the film before reaching a definitive conclusion regarding its status.

They only released a teaser and some concept art. We don't know what the actual plot of the movie is about or how the villain connects to Kaguya

I told you guys the plot in one of my previous posts, if you have a problem going back and reading then maybe you shouldn't even participate in the debate. I also explained how it doesn't connect to the original story..which you ALSO skipped. You also haven't conveyed that you're capable of giving any type of logical argument in response to me so with that being said, why are you even here? I copied and pasted the plot twice...explained how it wasn't related to the story twice.

Considering what we know about the plot thus far I'd argue the main antagonist has no connection tbh. Unless the movie has some connection to the premise behind the series overall then I doubt it could be considered canon.

The movie hasn't been release in Japan yet, and those don't come out until after the movie comes out.

The only released stuff is promotional in other words advertisements.

Even if it were canon to me..it'd be a disappointment. I'm not understanding the problem with having a movie that directly relates the premise of the series. It's just be nice to see what became of things related to the plot instead of having yet another movie about someone being rescued...again.

He has the byakugan and the sun+moon symbols on his back.

The sun and moon are symbols that represent Yin and Yang, Hagoromo/Hamura, Ashura/Indra and this villain has both of them combined on his back.

He's definitely connected to the Rikudou Sennin and his family. Mostly likely his father I think.



Also the movie deals with the moon crashing to the Earth....the moon that Kaguya is no longer sealed in and was created by the Sage.

I am still waiting for how you know the entire movies plot before the movie is even released.

Because it has nothing to do with the actual plot of the series if the movie were just straight up about the development of naruto and sasuke then I'd be ecstatic. Hell I was thrilled when the first movie came out, I wore the head band they gave out at the theaters and all. But to me based on the timing and the plot..I'm going to be honest..and I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but it seems like fan service. Just calling it like I see it.
