im not too sure about this thread... if it's true you've got some guts... however there's a 13% chance in my mind this is a dare... now the best course of action to do would have been talk privately rather than saying in public like this... and i have a suspicion to just who may have asked u to do this if it is a dare...

And if it is true than I think it's stupid. Tell it in her face (by that profile or PM as it is just an expression). This is the same as running outside and start to scream: people think you're drunk, laugh with you and you wouldn't accomplish anything.

I would say it's the same as if you'd be in school and in your class there's a girl that you like, but you're somehow too shy to tell her in face, so you either tell others and they tell her, or you give her a note telling her you love her. I've read the last VM's too (Coco-syndrome ~_~) and I have seen worse, especially considering that there is a hiatus of 8 months or something like that, so it's logically I'm not taking this directly serious.
I'm not against him making a thread, but my point is that you shouldn't start saying to people that are being rude as they are just joking around because it looks a lot like a dare. It's something he pretty much inflicted on himself by making such thread so you shouldn't say that they are being rude, because they aren't. Especially when the exact same thing would happen in a classroom (not to mention that it could cause a riot if you declare your love to someone in public that already has a bf -_-')
And I wouldn't start comparing a class with a forum. No matter how close you are on the forum, there is still some kind of barrier that isn't in a class.

that's not the point in hand of being shy... the point basically was it was a seriously brash move... due to the fact she could have had a bf which she does or not actually want to date him. that's why i feel private convo would have been better. i'm all for expressing love. but sometimes it's not the best choice to do so public.
that's why there were doubts, as i dont look through either's convos... and i've been asked to do dares many times in the past.
and if it's none of our concern whether we have doubts then why is it concern for anyone with different opinions... that would make it a private talk ergo undoing all the point of making it public.
