Quit what? I always liked Naruto more over Sasuke but things changed with this chapter. Atleast Sasuke always called him Madara

wow. i knew a bunch people would freak out if tobi was obito, but wow its worse than i thought. anyways i think you're looking at this all wrong, tobi being obito is actually kinda cool. It brings up way more questions than it answers so there is more for us to learn so i think stepping back, relaxing, and waiting to see how this all unfolds is the best thing to do. There's still plenty of mystery surrounding tobi/obito as knowing his name doesn't actually tell us anything--it doesn't even tell us who he is or how he became who he is. he certainly isn't the obito that kakashi knew. plus, besides tobi himself there's still so much left about madara, oro, the people who 'know everything' that sasuke's going to meet... i mean to leave and stop reading the manga over something like this? the story hasn't gone to shit, it just got more interesting

then leave, if all you want is action then there are much better series for that. But the storyline hasnt gone to shit at all, if you feel that the plot is destroyed because of one character's identity then I dont even know what to tell you

After reading chapter 599, I feel somewhat disappointed. I can't quite put a finger down on what im disappointed about.

I think that the whole reveal really was very unique; for the worse. The minute you see the chapter name, you immediately come to the conclusion of Tobi's identity. "Obito Uchiha". You then open the manga reader and you realize that the chapter starts right off the bat with a flashback. WTF??

I did quite enjoy the dialogue lacking flashback, but I think the timing was off.

You get to the last page, and see the man behind the mask; Obito, with the right side of his face with scars/wrinkles, and the enitire left side flawless.

If Tobi really is Obito, there is A LOT of evidence supporting the revelation, but one thing wouldn't make sense; why would he go bad? Maybe an obssesion with peace and not abandoning comrades?

I personally was one of the people who believed that Tobi was Izuna (and still dont believe it is Obito).

But after i went back a reviewed obito episodes, i came across this.

This might have been kishi's way of hinting to us who obito was.:shrug:
Just a thought, Obito said he would crush the way of shinobi.
