LOL totally agree! I've been telling this for a while already. Ever since the Uchiha hype the manga is full shit now! Kishi is a troll! The only reason I'm still following this manga is becuase I still want to see how it ends.
See anything can happen in the manga now. Kishi can make up any lame excuse! I wont be surprised if Kishi would add another jutsu for Sharingan to make up for this like they can time travel!

and to the other posts about obito's age during the kyuubi attack. he was NOT 18, nor was kakashi. let's work this out:
third world war ended 17 years ago, thats a fact. kyuubi attack happened 16 years ago, that is also a FACT, since Naruto is 16, the attack happened 16 years ago, OBVIOUSLY. so let's see, the kyuubi attack happened a YEAR after obito "died" under the rocks. so he would have been 14, since kakashi was 13 when he became jounin, and he became jounin in the war when obito died. so obito was 14. tobi at that time looked like an adult, and kishi draws adults and teenagers completely different. kakashi looked like a teen during the kyuubi attack, how could obito not look the same? obito somehow looked like an adult while kakashi and gai didn't? does not make sense, at all. either kishi doesn't even remember what the **** he wrote in the past, or completely disregards his own facts.

Well, just because he was hit by the boulder doesn't mean his eye was smashed. He could still talk, and was alive long enough for the transplant. So it's safe to say his brain wasn't crushed either.
And although you can't see the link between Obito and Tobi, doesn't mean it's gonna be a "ridiculous story". Just wait, and let Kishi do his magic! I'm sure he's gonna come with a good explanation... There have been many "plot holes" before, and Kishi always manages to tie them together!
After reading chapter 599, I feel somewhat disappointed. I can't quite put a finger down on what im disappointed about.
I think that the whole reveal really was very unique; for the worse. The minute you see the chapter name, you immediately come to the conclusion of Tobi's identity. "Obito Uchiha". You then open the manga reader and you realize that the chapter starts right off the bat with a flashback. WTF??
I did quite enjoy the dialogue lacking flashback, but I think the timing was off.
You get to the last page, and see the man behind the mask; Obito, with the right side of his face with scars/wrinkles, and the enitire left side flawless.

If Tobi really is Obito, there is A LOT of evidence supporting the revelation, but one thing wouldn't make sense; why would he go bad? Maybe an obssesion with peace and not abandoning comrades?
I mean seriously, Naruto Uzumaki broke Tobi's mask and messed up Narutobase Forums, he was the cause for Tobi to reveal his identity and now the Naruto Fandom is messing up.
lol, Kishi kind of trolled us, everybody thought it was Obito from the beginning and then he said it was Madara and everyone came up with these complex theories. If it really is simply obito then Kishi has allot of explaining to do. He has to explain how Obito's motives changed and also all these time line plot holes. For example: How was Obito able to fight the Fourth because Obito would have been a kid? Was it Obito who helped Itachi during the massacre or Madara? If Izuna is using Obito's body it will be easier to understand how Tobi knows so much about the ninja world but it wont answer some plot holes. Even if Izuna is using Obito's body he wouldnt have been old enough to fight the Fourth.
In regards to the chapter, it wasn't that bad. The flashbacks and the lack of dialogue is really emotional for us people who always thought Tobi was obito, even through the Madara bullshit. People need to calm down and wait for Kishi's explanation. Although, Kishi has allot of explaining to do.
