Ok so. We all know With edo tensei you bring back the person's soul. Not the body. Meaning the 4th hokage cant be summoned correct? If that is true, who was in the cascit Orochimaru was trying to revive against sarutobi? If he summoned the 1st and 2nd wouldnt it make sence for him to summon the 4th?

It had the #4 written on the box but since Minato's soul was sealed wouldnt that make it immposible to summon him? So who was in the box orochimaru was trying to summon? We were just told in the last few manga's that Orochimaru new alot about Tobi's plan. What if the person Orochimaru summoned was the same person Kabuto summoned to get Tobi to work with him?'

Ok IMO this situation is a canon error from Kishi's part, when Oro tried to re summon Yondaime Hokage in the battle against Sandaime Hokage.

In theory a dead daemon consuming seal doesn't send the persons soul to the underworld but seals it within a summoned Shinigami, which is impractical. So yeah !!!

fxwarrior, your reading too much into it. Think about timeline. The story about Minato Namikaze wasnt released into much later than the Orochimaru-Sandaime Hokage fight. Also i would like to know who is in that crate that Kabuto summoned. I think its either the first Hokage, Rikkidou Sennin, or Madara's brother. Any suggestions?
