Scenario:
  • It is best if you use this genjutsu in a place where there are leaves or trees around. If you don't, your opponent will use this as a excuse as to how they figure out that it's a genjutsu. After that you can use a variety of combinations to attack your opponent while they're busy breaking out of the genjutsu. One out of the many combos you can use is the dropping lid and Earth Turning Palm combo. You first use dropping lid to trap your opponent within a huge circular earthen lid. After that step, you will then use Earth Turning Palm to bury your opponent in the ground. Your opponent won't have enough time to break out before the Earth Turning Palm technique drags them 6 feet below.

  • After placing my opponent in the genjutsu, I will thenl use the combination of Sticky earth drop and Hellfire Technique. While the target is busy breaking out of the genjutsu, I will restrict his movements with a surplus of sticky mud until it covers his whole body. Then follow it up with the Hellfire technique and cause a huge maelstrom of fire to hardened the mud.

Advantages:
  • Manipulates the target's vision.
  • Causes the target to faint after witnessing their deepest fear.
  • N/A

Disadvantages:
  • This is a useless genjutsu in the NB Roleplay because everybody is fearless and won't give in to the fainting part.
  • It's short range.
  • Requires two hand seals.

How will you defend from this?
  • As I stated in my first scenario, if there are no leaves around to cover the target, then they can easily detect this as a genjutsu if leaves just randomly came out of no where.

  • Now if there happen to be leaves around, then you can't use that reason to break out of the genjutsu. Now the other way you can detect this as a genjutsu, is if your fear is something that doesn't exist. If your deepest fear is something that doesn't exist, then you know it's impossible for it to be right in front of you in the real. Use this reasoning to help you break out of the genjutsu.

though imo, I think that genjutsu needs focus and you can't do other jutsu while fashioning what your opponent see, though you can throw kunais or use non chakra base attacks.

Next

( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.
You use this to break out of genjutsu. after one handseal then you will stop your chakra flow for a moment then you suddenly start it making it spike then because of you disturbind/refreshing your already disturbed chakra due to genjutsu, you are then free from it, note again, it requires a handseal thus you can't use it on any genjutsu that leaves you paralysed or unable to move. Remember that.

I put you in a genjutsu where you see crabs coming towards you.

Scenario:
  • In the middle of talking to my sensei about Kai release, I notice a few white petals falling from the sky. I looked up to the sky and saw nothing of proof of where these petals came from. The wind wasn't blowing either, so they couldn't have been blown from somewhere else. There were no logical explanation for these petals being here, so I came to the conclusion that this is a visual genjutsu. Just minutes ago I was talking about the Kai release technique, now I can finally use it in a real life situation. I perform the tiger hand seal and momentarily stop the flow of my chakra and then start it back up again which caused a spike in my chakra and get rid of the foreign chakra.

  • I arrive at the battle field and called out to my comrade. I didn't hear a response from so I look directly at him and he had a blank look on his face as if he saw a ghost. There was nobody here, and he stood stiff looking into space without acknowledging my exsistance. If he were paralyzed, he would on the floor and not standing straight up. I went through all the possibilities in my head on what could had happen to him until I finally figure it out. He was trapped in a genjutsu. I took my right palm and placed it on his shoulder. I perform a hand seal and inserted a burst of chakra within my comrade. The burst of chakra disrupted his chakra flow which then result in the foreign chakra exiting his body and breaking him out of the genjutsu.

Advantages:
  • Helps you break out of genjutsus of any rank.
  • Can break your comrade out of a genjutsu.
  • Very quick to use.
Disadvantages:
  • Can only use it once per turn
  • Can't break you out of MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant.
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • Use MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant to prevent them from use this technique as a way to break out.

Nice usage using it to break a comrade out.

( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect
Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are
travelling in a straight line, when instead
they are moving in circles. This is only
effective on moving opponents. If the
opponent travels in the circle for hours, they
will be exhausted.
A deceptive on here. Making your opponent see things to seem riight in case of direction, but its actually wrong.

Scenario:
  • Since this genjutsu can only be used on someone who is moving, it 's best to use it in a CQC situation if you know you're not a good CQC fighter. While they are running for an attack, you will use this genjutsu to divert their movements in a circular pattern around you. In this situation, I would use Dropping Lid over my area since that's where my opponent is and then proceed to phase through the ground with the Hiding in Rock Technique. If your opponent manage to breakout of the genjutsu and counter the dropping lid, they wouldn't know where you went, which gives you the element of surprise and the opportunity to come up for a stealth attack.

  • In the same situation as above, I would use instead of Dropping lid the move Earth Flow Spears. It's a wide terrain attack, so if my opponent mange to breakout of the genjutsu, they would have to act fast if they want to prevent from getting skewed from multiple earth spikes from different directions.
Advantages:
  • Manipulates the targets vision and sense of direction.
  • The target becomes fatigue after running in circles for to long.
  • Requires no hand seals which makes it unnoticeable from the start.
Disadvantages:
  • Can only work on moving opponents.
  • Easy to breakout of.
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • After realizing that you're not making any progress towards your opponent even though you're running at full speed and they are just standing there, you can deduce that you're in a genjutsu by using that reasoning and proceed to either bite the tip of your thumb or use kai release to breakout.

if you have any questions, please ask them

( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique:
Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with
physical contact with them, is able to
convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.
Works only on lower ninja than you. So you will place your hand on the target and disrupt his chakra network using your chakra, then you are able to convince him to disclose information to you.

( Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka ) - Illusion
Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire
descending from the sky and enveloping its
target.
Without any handseal, you will channel your chakra into the target and take of of thier sense of sight making them seea huge fire ball descending upon them from the sky. The height and color of the fireball is totally dependent on you.

I know that, but why you brought it up? Are my posts lacking substance?

Scenario:
  • This is a hard one as you need to make contact with your opponent. The best possible way I can that happen is by restricting my opponent's movements. I would put them under a genjutsu so they'll be occupied, and then paralyze them with the basic lightning technique so they won't be able to move after they break out of the genjutsu. Then I would this opportunity to use the Interrogation genjutsu to receive confidential information.

  • Other than using the immobilizing tactic, you can try to overwhelm your opponent with clones. You would first have one of the clones use the hidden projection fish technique, that will be the one to use the genjutsu. Then after that, you and and your other clone will pressure your opponent with CQC and have him fully focus on both of you. Since hidden projection fish doesn't agitate the ground when the user emerge, my opponent would have no way of detecting the clone presence and will be left vulnerable from behind as the clone grabs the head and place him in the genjutsu.
Advantage
  • You gain valuable Intel.
  • N/A
  • N/A
Disadvantages:
  • Must make contact with the target.
  • Only effective against ninjas two ranks lower than you.
  • This is very useless in the RP as you can not be certain that the person is giving you real information.
How will you defend from this?
  • This jutsu is already ineffective against me as I at the highest rank a ninja can be. But for ninjas that are not, they can simply use a move like chidori nagashi to paralyze the target, or just get out of short range by using the basic wind technique.

Scenario:
  • After placing the target in the genjutsu in which they see a large ball of flame falling 10 meters above them, in reality it will be a solid earth lid falling from above instead. Then after he break out of the genjutsu and realize the lid, I will then use tearing earth palm to spiral the ground beneath him inwards and bury him alive while he's focusing on the lid. The lid will prevent him from escaping upwards ,and it will be to late to move out of the range of the lid.
Advantages:
  • Manipulates the user's sight.
  • Requires no hand seals.
  • N/A
Disadvantages:
  • Easy to break out of.
  • N/A
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • By using my knowledge I have about Fire, I could deduce that it will be impossible for my opponent to summon a Fire tech without the use of his hands or mouth. I could also use the fact that I didn't see a portal open in the sky just like the move earth dropping lid. By using these two logical reasons, I could say with confidence that this is a genjutsu and break out.

Not exactly, just saying,,,

Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu ) - Illusion
Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy,
jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry
blossom petals which results in confusing
the opponent and obscuring their vision,
leaving them open for attack.
After disrupting your opponent's chakra using your chakra, you will control their sense of sight with illusion where they see you make a clone which in reality you did not. Then the clone runs towards them and jumps then explodes into several petals to blind him from his surrounding. In reality you can attack when he can see. This requires timing as you should time your attack with the outbusrt of cherry blossom.

Scenario:
  • I'll start by placing my opponent in the genjutsu where he will see a clone of myself running towards him. While he sees a clone running towards him, in reality that clone is actually an explosive tagged kunai that is in sync with the clone movement that is in the genjutsu. The same time the clone jumps to explode into a cloud of cherry blossoms, the kunai will make contact with my opponent and detonate.

  • Using the same scenario as above, I would switch out the kunai with the move Exploding Flame Crater. I chose this move because it comes from underneath and would catch the target off guard if they broke out of the genjutsu. Then to add more pressure as they escape from either left, right, or back, I will use the move Intelligent Hard Work to surround the area in fire and make it near impossible to come up with a proper attack towards me.
Advantages:
  • Manipulates your target's vision.
  • It obscures the target's vision which leaves him vulnerable to attacks.
  • Requires no hand seals.
Disadvantages:
  • Range only limited up to mid range.
  • Easy to breakout of.
How will you defend from this?
  • Seeing that the genjutsu obligates the user to create a clone to start of the genjutsu, I could make the argument that since the clone was made without using the proper hand seals, that this has to be a genjutsu due to the oddity.
  • If the first explanation of figuring out that it's a genjutsu sounds iffy to you, then you can verify your conclusion by tossing a kunai at the clone. The kunai will pass through the clone since it's not real, which is more than enough evidence to say that you're trapped in a genjutsu.

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu)
Demonic Illusion: Double False
Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique.
However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one,
he will then feel the effects of the second
illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is
that of a desert and the second that of a
forest, upon releasing the first one, the
opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him
think he dispelled the illusion while in
essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion
is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted
at the same time. While normal releases will
release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra
can dispel both at the same time.
This is an advanced version of the D-rank false surrounding. This is because you are layering a scene on another scene. You change the surrounding actually 2 times like a double coat of paint. When you clean the blue out, you meet the red which is not still the real color. You channel chakra to dirupt your opponent's chakra network then lets them see a different enviroment. You are actually taking control of their sense of sight. Once they break out of the first environment, they see another enviroment which you have planted and still at your mercy, unless ofcos they use a full body surge of higher rank able to break both illusions at once.

Scenarios:
  • For the first genjutsu, I would alter the terrain to be a vast ocean with no land in sight. The second layer would show a wasteland with a few rock constructs surrounding the area. After placing the genjutsu on my opponent, I will try to advance closer and use the wind technique Wind Style: Spiral sphere and cause lethal damage to my opponent's mid section.

  • In the second scenario, I'll change the two previous terrains to something new. The first one will take place at night in a murky area such as Kirigakure. Then layer that terrain with a Desert. I will then follow up the genjutsu with the move Earth Flow Spears. I pick this jutsu due to its quick use that would make it hard for the target to avoid after breaking out of the genjutsu.
Advantages:
  • You can set a double illusion.
  • It manipulates the target's vision.
  • N/A
Disadvantages:
  • Requires three hand seals
  • Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • It's impossible for anybody to change the terrain instantly without using the abilities of Genjutsu, so that's more the reason to think that you're trapped in a genjutsu. I would use a full body surge such as Chidori nagashi to break out from both of the genjutsus.

( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the
target locks them in a genjutsu which causes
them to hallucinate multiple waving arms.
The movement resembles that of a willow
tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off
guard, the user is free to cut them down.
Waving your sword back and forth gives you the required focus to be able to execute this genjutsu and also act as the trigger, once your target locks eyes with the movement of the sword, he is entraped in your genjutsu. This is like hallucinating seeing multiple arms waving exactly like the sword and able to distract them as you take them of guard.

Scenarios:
  • After placing the target in the genjutsu where he'll be hallucinating multiple arms waving before him. To confuse him some more, I will zig zag my ways towards him so he will see multiple images of myself as I travel towards him. After getting close enough, I will jump off my right foot and lead my left knee directly into his chest to land a bone crushing blow to his sternum. At the same time, I will bring down the sword I had earlier and strike the man in his neck with the blade.

  • While the target is hallucinating, I will run towards the target and get down low as I got closer. I'll lean backwards and land a kick beneath the target's chin that will send him flying upwards. While on the ground, I toss small exploding balls of flames (Exploding Flame Shots) at the target that will set him ablaze while dealing devastating damage.
Advantages:
  • The genjutsu manipulates the target's vision.
  • Hallucinates the target.
  • N/A
Disadvantages:
  • Effective only in short range.
  • Requires a sword to use.
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • This is quite simple. The moment you realize you're hallucinating, you will be able to figure out that you're in a genjutsu. Why would you all of a sudden hallucinate when your opponent waves his sword back and forth. You can connect the random decision of your opponent waving his sword for no reason, to your hallucination. It makes sense and shouldn't lead to no arguments between you and your opponent.

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog
→ Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and
trigger an illusion where the user first
disappears, while the target sees several
bean vines growing from the ground around
and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean
pod rises from the ground to reveal the user,
ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is
immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user
to strike.
You will make 4 handseals afterwhich you disturb your target's chakra flow using your chakra then you tame their sense of sight making them see you fade from their sight, then bean vines grow beneath them entangling them and while they are intertwined within it, a bean pod grows above them and opens revealing your upperbody and holding a kunai ready to go for the kill. In real life, you are free to attack your opponent with kunai or weapon but jutsu as making another jutsu disrupt the genjutsu itself as the genjutsu need focus.

Scenarios:
  • For the first scenario I would use it in a grassy setting such as a forest. After performing the hand seals and placing them in a genjutsu, I would use the hiding like a mole technique to hide underground and travel towards them. Then after using that, I will then use the headhunter jutsu to trap them underground with nothing but their head exposed. I'll proceed by drawing out a kunai and slit their throat.

  • For the second scenario I will try to use a mid to long attack because they will most definitely use either the chidori nagashi technique to break out of the genjutsu or the earth hardening technique. I would counter these by either using stormy blockade or the Water Heavens Convergence jutsu.
Advantages:
  • Manipulates both the target's sense of touch and sight.
  • Restricts the opponent's movements.
  • Can reach mid range.
Disadvantages:
  • Requires 4 hand seals.
  • N/A
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • Well, this is easy. You see several vines wrapping around your body and restricting your movements, your first instinct would be to break free, right? So it's logical and make sense why you would use one of the elemental full body surges to tear apart the vines that are holding you back from doing anything.

Good!

Now this next one is sweet. You will lure your opponent in an illusion where they suddenly see themself trapped in a flower bud that closes on them and restrict their movement. Then the flowerbud soon explodes and cause mental stress on them as they believe the explosion realy occurs. The illusion stops as soon as the explosion occurs as the mental pain is enough to break them out. You can aswell attack before the explosion.

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent
appears to be trapped in a large flower bud
which then explodes. The opponent is made
to believe that an explosion actually occurred
and collapses, believing himself to be
injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

Scenarios:
  • After placing the genjutsu on the target, they will see a large flower entrap them and immobilize them. The flower petal will explode and the target will experience server head trauma from that genjutsu because they actually believe they were in a explosion. Outside in the real world, I would use the swamp of the underworld technique to literally trap them and cause them to sink to their death.

  • In another scenario, I would use stromy blockade to drown them in water after they experience the explosion within the genjutsu. However, if they happened to escape the genjutsu before they reach the explosion part by using the chidori nagashi technique, they would be doing harm to themselves as an end result.
Advantages:
  • Manipulates the target's sense of sight and touch.
  • Does actual damage to the target mentally.
  • No hand seals and can reach up to mid range.
Disadvantages:
  • Can't reach long range.
  • N/A
  • N/A
How will you defend from this?
  • This is another easy one. You're trap again, unable to move to any part of your body, so your first instinct should be to get out by using a full body surge jutsu. Chidori nagashi would be the best jutsu to use in this situation because you're trap in a flower and flowers relates to the Wood KG which everybody knows is weak to lightning.

Another binding genjutsu, however, this is short ranged. Disturb your targets chakra and tame their senses(tell me the senses involved). They see you disperse and then they are bind by a tree leaving them open to your attack as you now emerge from the tree to strike them.

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once
they stealthily approach the target and get
within short-range, the opponent feels
completely immobilized, and believes they
have been bound by a fast-growing tree and
are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the
target. In reality, the target is immobilized,
allowing the user to strike or interrogate
them.

Scenarios:
  • This genjutsu would be perfect if used in a forest setting. I will first summon a clone and have it run somewhere in the forest while I place the genjutsu my target. He will see a thick mist cover my presence and immediately feel immobilize as they feel tree branches wrapping their body. Next they will see me appear above the tree with a kunai in hand, they will think it's the clone since they saw me signal it to run into the forest. In reality, I will be tossing a few explosive kunais at him while he stands there motionless from the genjutsu.

  • The second will have the same setting, but will instead have me activate the genjutsu first before using any other jutsu. Again the target will be immobilize and will probably use chidori nagashi to break away from the genjutsu. To prevent that I will use the jutsu stormy blockade to have them use the alternative hardening technique which is still just as bad since they will be drowning.
Advantages:
  • Manipulates the target's sense of sight and touch.
  • Immobilizes the target.
  • N/A
Disadvantages:
  • Requires five hand seals.
  • Can only work within short range.
  • Easy to break out of.
How will you defend from this?
  • The reason why i say it's easy to break out of because it gives the excuse to use the jutsu chidori nagashi since you're immobilize by a tree and your opponent is right above you with a kunai in hand. So you have a tree binding you which is weak to lightning, and you need a quick jutsu to prevent your opponent from slitting your throat with the kunai, so using chidori nagashi in this situation makes the most logical sense.
