who is this woman?

she seems so mysterious. there's been speculation that she's a quincy or at least just aware of the supernatural. sort of like kuwabara's sister from yu yu hakusho. she actually resembles some of the quincy we've seen thus far.

I think she pretends to be oblivious to what's going on. such as here when isshin walks in.

now she pretends to not see isshin, however, she spots ichigo's substitute shinigami badge which is said to be invisible to humans.

here's when it was stated

Later she returns the badge to ichigo and he thanks her AND isshin before informing them that he was going back to SS. now she "can't see" isshin as the images above suggest, so wouldn't she find it weird that ichigo was talking to himself and comment on it?

I just honestly want to know what you guys think about her character and what you think her background/motives are.

i think it is interesting that she could see the badge, although this could be because it is faulty or something now since he is a full-fledged shinigami

but she did not see his dad in the last panel for sure, as she is surprised that he says "Dad"

yea, that is possible but she looks more concerned than shocked.

Agreed. Maybe she is similar to Chad in the sense she can see spirits and hollows ? That's where I would draw the line though.
