If you switch MS Sasuke with SM Naruto during Kage summit

Pain arc SM Naruto in place of MS Sasuke. Same mindset as Sasuke, willing to kill anyone that stands in his way, with Karin, Juugo and Suigetsu on his side. Naruto was after Danzo but he escaped and Naruto have to fight 4 Kages. How far would he go? Would he lose earlier than Sasuke? Or would he last longer? Or maybe could he even manage to escape with Karin to follow Danzo?

Right, I forgot about that... kyuubi is restricted, just SM feats and summons he showed against Pain.

Naruto would do better. He has the bigger chakra reserves and more stamina, he won't go blind and he can always have clones gathering NE for him. While Sasuke at the time was stronger, (or got stronger as he developed his MS) Naruto's specific set of skills would allow him to deal with the situation better than Sasuke.

If I remember correctly, 4 clones was his limit in SM right? 2 were gathering NE and other 2 could be used in fight. How does he defend himself from Mei's acid mist and Ay's speed tho?

If Naruto was as angry & unstable as Sasuke I see 4+tails. SM wouldn't last long.

Well, Sage Mode provides the needed senses for him to react to it in a similar manner to how he reacted to the third's attack later in the war, except instead of a complex maneuver to get in striking position with the Third's arm, he just needs to dodge. That is all while taking into consideration that Ay didn't even get close to his top speed versus Sasuke, while getting stuck in between four walls with Mei would never be a problem since Naruto easily has the strength feats to smash through a concrete wall in Sage Mode and wouldn't be slowed down by the pain Sasuke was in from overusing Susanoo. And dodging is also an option.

Sasuke was a decent matchup against the Kage's at that point because he was playing all defense with Susano'o.

SM Naruto wouldn't be the right matchup.

Of course SM Naruto would lose in an all-out fight.
However, he doesn't have to if he plays his cards right. He provokes the kages with a shadow clone, Danzo escapes, and Naruto follows him with Sage Mode. He doesn't even need Karin or to confront the 4 kages.

That is all while taking into consideration that Ay didn't even get close to his top speed versus Sasuke, while getting stuck in between four walls with Mei would never be a problem since Naruto easily has the strength feats to smash through a concrete wall in Sage Mode and wouldn't be slowed down by the pain Sasuke was in from overusing Susanoo. Reacting to third's attack is war arc feat tho and I have to agree with this :

Naruto could only dodge vs Ay who would blitz him in a split second SM worn off. I don't want to downplay Naruto, it's just unfortunate that Ay was the first matchup in kage summit. Naruto simply wouldn't survive vs him. I guess he would need to create a distraction as soon as possible with either clones destroying pillars or something else, so he could make it to the meeting room.

I honestly think SM Naruto (whilst being weaker than EMS and maybe MS Sasuke) is a better fit for this. He is better suited for endurance naturally and has levels of jutsu that can last a long time. Including all the strongest chief toads, 1K clones, rasen-shuriken and Frog Kata...he's gonna go the distance. Kyuubi isn't needed.

(Also Ma & Pa alone can easily defeat one of the Kage)
