Sora arc was actually better than most, but I found it annoying how they tied it to the canon storyline, I really hate it when they do that, try and associate their own crappy creativity with Kishimoto's.

I recovered Naruto though anime. Toonami oh how i miss you so. Good times. I couldn't tell the difference between filler and canon cuz back then they tied it in so well. But after sasuke left i started getting pissed. Then when shippuden started out would be cannon then filler, cannon then filler. The people making the anime made sure that the arc finished b4 they started their filler. The fillers during the war aren't that bad cuz we get to see the abilities of warriors overlooked in the manga. ex: the 7 swordsmen. The chikara arc is just to celebrate the anime hitting episode 500 i think.

I knew they were fillers when I first saw them, they just didn't seem to mesh with the rest of the anime. I actually enjoyed the recent fillers, like the Seven Swordsman and Pakura ones. I don't seem them as filler as much as exposition for some of the reincarnated shinobi, and it's cool to see how the fight and their background.

I was introduced through the anime but sensed that some episodes didn't seem to move the main story line forward like others did. Of the fillers, some were good, some were funny, some were stupid. But now that I'm following the manga, I've grown impatient with fillers, probably because I am looking forward to seeing stuff that I know is coming. A 6 part filler before Naruto gets to the battlefield? Argh.

i had an awesome friend show me the anime. i loved the anime so much (especially part 2) that i decided to start reading the manga because i couldnt handle not knowing what everyone was talking about lol It took a few episodes to get me interested but at a certain point it became my crack
