If you discovered Naruto through the anime and not the manga.......

When I first saw the anime, I didn't know what a filler was. Even if I did, I wouldn't be able to tell what was a filler and what wasn't, because since that was what I was first introduced to, everything was canon.

I recognized them because I had previously hated Bleach fillers and knew they had to be the same thing.

I discovered naruto via anime and I watched all the of the part 1 episodes I couldn't tell the difference between the fillers and actual episodes I wasn't reading the manga at that time so I think I wasted a lot of time watching those fillers.

Part 1 fillers start after Naruto leaves with Jiraiya, after that it's pretty obvious.

am i the only who likes the fillers? i mean i guess if you don't read the manga, the fillers are fine. i think it's for people who don't read the manga and $$

No you're probably not the only one, I think they are made because the anime dept cannot afford to keep taking long breaks every few months.....you know, because of contracts...

Are you talking about Kakashi Gaiden? If so, those aren't fillers.....

So I use to watch every filler, until one day I saw a comment on youtube criticizing the fillers, so I look them up on google and I couldn't believe all the time I had wasted watching fillers. After that I started to read the manga until the latest chapter which was chapter 480 back then.

Seriously. I was wondering why everyone was slow and dragged on. Now I know why. Half of Naruto was fillers and it really was prolonging crap. Honestly your right an insult to Kishimoto. But what do you expect? Commercialism to care what the people want? No. You get greedy bastards!

I was a little late in finding out fillers aren't canon. I didn't realize it until i joined this site . I didn't really care although i was a bit disappointed to find out episode 101 wasn't real. (a.k.a Kakashi's mask).
I still enjoy fillers though, i don't see why some people are so against them...

Part 1 fillers are are definitely better than Shippuden fillers, except for the Thundercat up there^ lol
