If you could kill off one character who would it be?

Naruto. I feel like his death from the series would shake it up and really make for a more dramatic ending arc/revenge-like Sasuke vs Madara. Just add tension into the manga once more; As we're not really seeing people who can suffer the consequences of death fight. (Edo's, Main characters) and he has done a lot. He was the one pulling most of the Obito battle up until the end when he received help.

I'd just rather have him die as a character that I can still enjoy to some extent. Then have him be brought back with some pseudo god mode and get even more generic.

Meh. I felt the same once he was ressurrected. But... It's not a lasting effect. And Obito was significantly better as a villain. But he was thrown in a terrible situation. Can't have the power of the Juubi and be allowed to kill people. He'd be unstoppable and had to be blocked by, a poor excuse, plot. Which really kinda does hurt him a tad...

I view Obito fondly due to Tobi... But his constant "Rin Rin Rin Rin Rin" was pretty irritating...
But I did like his "Just go to sleep" attitude instead of "I'll kill you all". It made him appear truly godlike.

I managed to look past the constant talks on Rin. It gets bothersome. But, if you reread the arc(s) together instead of chapter by chapter EVERYTHING improves and seems better. Think about it, though. The chances of Kabuto being what he was are lessoned and Edo Tensei might not have been readded! And the chance to see Orochimaru's gloriousness would never of happened.

Think about it, though. The chances of Kabuto being what he was are lessoned and Edo Tensei might not have been readded! And the chance to see Orochimaru's gloriousness would never of happened.

His gloriousness is nowhere near what it once was.
Kabuto would be a sacrifice I'd be willing to take for Pain or Orochimaru to be FV. Perhaps, Orochimaru's remains would take him over...
Edo Tensei would also be a large sacrifice. Though, perhaps Orochimaru could have redone it, like Kabuto.

How would he be generic by powering up? He needs more power because he is too weak to fight Madara or even Sasuke right now. Also, since when is a pseudo-god generic. The word "God" alone is contradictory to the word generic.
