That's exactly why I would rather watch him. Don't want him to be a hero and I like the fact his motives are still not 100% clear. I find him more interesting.

It's not even about him being a bad guy. I just like his character and how he goes about it.
I love the fact his emotions overwhelm him.

I would love to see parts of where he doubted his abilities, where he felt like given up. Would be great to watch instead of the generic cliche crap we're being fed right now.

The runner ups are Itachi, Gaara, Kakashi, and Shikamaru. However, I wouldn't change it unless I absolutely have to because Naruto is the best MC possible of this manga.

To each his own I guess. I would enjoy a Part 1 Sasuke as an exclusive protagonist. Part 2 just isn't hero material period. The only reason I don't like Sausuke now is because he had potential to be the most awesome villain in the series. Now look at him... He now wants to kill Naruto just because he feels like it. That's hardly the strong motivation he once had with Itachi.

It still isn't clear enough what sasuke's motives are.
There is more to the uchiha clan and the juubi than you think it is.
Moon eye plan, juubi and uchiha clan are very closely connected and there are countless interesting theories made on them.

Sasuke is the person who actually makes the manga interesting. like when he went off with orochimaru. I was more interested in who he wants to meet and where they are going than naruto&alliance vs obito+madara.
Then he revives the 4 hokages, that was like the best manga chapter happened in the manga(in this year) , it was given 5 stars from most of the members and it made all the readers pumped up and everyone was eagerly waiting for them to arrive to battlefield.

Sasuke and uchiha clan are mysterious and they are the guys who make manga interesting.

Honestly, Sasuke's never been main character material. Kishi can't handle him... He disappears from this story every 100 chapters as it is and has no relevancy now other than "I'm gonna be hokage".

Also, I just don't like the Uchiha clan. Probably the minority but I find them poorly written a lot of the times. Broken abilities and very limited logic in their actions. I hate what they did to this story and having Sasuke as a main character would be pretty awful.

Also, there is a time and place for everything, so one should not expect a character where there is nothing for him to do.

He is more relevant to the plot than any other character in the manga, not even naruto.

The 2 villains fighting against him are uchiha. Izuna resembles sasuke a lot, sasuke is also an EMS user just like madara.
Sasuke still doesn't know who was responsible reviving konoha. Sasuke hates obito for killing his clan.
Sasuke is naruo's best friend and naruto is continuously asking him to stay besides, they both are the ones doing combination attacks.
Every other important character in the manga is somehow related to him.


It still hasn't been explained how and why uchiha go MAD when they unlock MS.
There is still more to "curse of hatered " we are not aware of.

Sasuke is one of the characters in the manga which have been written almost perfectly.

And i would love to see his growth step by step. İt Sucks How his hardwork and efforts been tossed aside between love-hate-destiny-monsters crap. People are relying on op monsters, haxx linages, crying over something and getting new powers these days...

And Neji would be the rival character. Their relationship seemed much real to me than the butthurt fest going on between 2 main characters.
