Great question. The real difference, to me, is the bluntness of the threads. Smd hides and cowers behind the worst of threads, whereas Elite is upfront with his comparisons. The same can be said for Macho... Which is why very little backlash is held outside their threads.

She cowers and hides. I mean she quite literally makes threads set up to suck on Sasuke and the second you have a disagreeing opinion you're a troll. All of her threads incorporate Naruto at some point for some reason.

Elite's threads mostly wank Naruto, while hers are specifically designed to degrade Naruto. And Elite never hides behind his threads. He's open and in your face. There is a certain level of respectability there.

You might be right. But I think it's the lack of a definitive "Macho" figure in our fandom. We had pravin but he's chastised by his own fandom just as much.

I mean, you really named it. Solo, Macho, SMD, Simple... These guys are notorious for their posts. How many Naruto's do we have really? RedTire's gone and I really can't name anyone.

The overall attitudes for Sasuke fanboys is way different and they've honestly earned that animosity. When a chapter comes out and it has a snake calling him a lord... And five dudes make threads on how "Lord Sasuke" is canon, the tolerance is going to go down dramatically.

They just post more often and way worse content. I think Elite is the loudest one we have and we was inactive for quite a while. Sasuke fapping si 24/7 with no breaks. And the worst part is they don't get banned. Their threads are so obviously stupid and never amount to anything and they are let off.

Sasuke's already a main character, but having him as the exclusive protagonist would be the worst idea ever. It would be a tail of a guy who'll sacrifice anyone for his goals and power. Hardly the likeable hero.

Are you sure it's not your hate of Naruto talking when you say he'd be a better side character? Naruto is the shunned underdog that conquers all. That gets us really into it.



Edit: Do you worship Sasuke or something and view Naruto as the devil? Nothing you post doesn't have to do with either. I suppose Sasuke should be labeled as the most addictive drug in the world now. It dominates your entire life and twists your view of reality. Be warned.

It baffles me that both fandoms can't seem to keep the 'rival' characters name out of their mouth and I just don't know what the obsession is about. Because they're people like Spacey orange, Versatile Jutsu, Parvin (smdh this guy) and other who's name I forgot balance it out imo.

I just don't see why they need to constantly go back and forth like children. From the outside looking in, it looks pathetic when you see threads like:

It's just sad.

I would actually prefer to watch a story with Sasuke as the main character.

Broadcast that man. I'm always open with my issues with Sasuke's character. Even with my open support for Naruto's character, minus some fools like SMD, I usually engage in regular discussions and rarely get the fanboy label.

Disliking a character is perfectly fine! I'd hate it if my favourite was generically loved. Don't be afraid to be branded anything. Some of my closest friends on this site and irl are major Nardo haters and some of his biggest critics. I've gotten along fine with a lot of them.

To each his own I guess. I would enjoy a Part 1 Sasuke as an exclusive protagonist. Part 2 just isn't hero material period. The only reason I don't like Sausuke now is because he had potential to be the most awesome villain in the series. Now look at him... He now wants to kill Naruto just because he feels like it. That's hardly the strong motivation he once had with Itachi.

Honestly, Sasuke's never been main character material. Kishi can't handle him... He disappears from this story every 100 chapters as it is and has no relevancy now other than "I'm gonna be hokage".

Also, I just don't like the Uchiha clan. Probably the minority but I find them poorly written a lot of the times. Broken abilities and very limited logic in their actions. I hate what they did to this story and having Sasuke as a main character would be pretty awful.

That's exactly why I would rather watch him. Don't want him to be a hero and I like the fact his motives are still not 100% clear. I find him more interesting.
