Because that's not what a whirlpool is, a whirlpool is the high friction and force of tidal crashes formed from gravity to create the whirlpool. It'd need Wind+Water+Rinnegan to make it possible. Wind+Water would just make a really strong wave.

I think its rather obvious he will learn water release at some point. For the sake of the thread though i wouldn't mind him getting earth release. Wind+Earth might see him create a dust style jutsu along the lines of Jinton or something, idk.

Whirlpools aren't developed by wind. Both logics are broken. Naruto'd technically need Rinnegan with water to create a whirlpool then.

Well a tree needs EARTH+WATER+sunshine, to grow. So it would make sense. Mud release would be a lame kkg.(not sure, but mythology may have plants, as a element made from mixing earth and water.again, i have no proof of this, and just think it may be possible)

My bigger question, is how does earth+fire+wind make jinton, basically a laser that disinigrates at a atomic level?

Water is the second element he would need to beat sasukes second element, fire.
I cant see naruto with lightning release, or fire release.(it just wouldnt seem right)

The other element i COULD see naruto with would be earth. But I think naruto would be better with water.
