Yes it has been a very long time since I posted the first chapter, but I was busy with exams, and then forgot about it over the summer and beginning college

Kakashi: Yes sensei, and shall I order the grand monuments for Kushina and the 3rd?
Minato: No, many ninja died during the attack last night, they all gave their lives and their sacrifice is equal to Kushina and the 3rd's, so they shall all be treated equally, it's what everyone would've wanted, also can you babysit Naruto for me? I'm not sure who I can trust at the moment.
Kakashi: Ofcourse sensei, but where are you going?
Minato: While Orochimaru is a lost cause, the 3rd's other students deserve to know of his passing, I shall also be requesting that they return to the village permanently, we need all the power we can get, and I know I can trust them.
Kakashi: It appears things are more dire than I had thought, are you sure about leaving the village at such a vulnerable time, if another village were planning to attack, now would be the time, not to mention our other situation.
Minato: Yes, I must find Tsunade and my sensei, the other villages wouldn't dare anger me at a time like this, some out of respect, others out of fear. Also do not worry, I know all about the Uchiha situation, but I shall deal with it after the funeral. *Things may be even more severe if that really was Madara I was facing...*

Minato: Kakashi keep that Kunai I gave you on you at all times, if I need to message you I shall send a toad to you with the message using my Flying Thunder God technique, also I would like you to visit Mikoto Uchiha, she was a friend of Kushina, and has a baby around Naruto's age, She would probably like to see him, also it will hopefully strengthen our bonds with the Uchiha, as you know her husband is the leader of the clan.
Minato disappears in an instant, almost immediately after the infant Naruto begins to cry
Kakashi: Hmm... Naruto, *The young teenager held the baby in the air at arms length, looking him in the eyes* Everyone shall be expecting great things from you, I was unable to protect my friends, but I shall not make that mistake with you.
The sound of Kakashi's reassuring tone eases naruto, who begins to giggle and drool
Later that Day...
Kakashi knocks at the door, Kakashi, usually cool and collected can't help but feel anxious and nervous about entering this house, although not for the reasons most would, as this house belonged Fugaku Uchiha the leader of the Uchiha clan, and notorious for being moody, short tempered and intimidating, though Kakashi was not worried about this. During his time as a shinobi Kakashi had came across countless powerful and evil ninja and has never feared them, yet it was Mikoto he was anxious about seeing, mother, a saddened mother who had lost a friend who no doubt would be tired, upset, and nurturing. Kakashi couldn't bare that, what he could remember of his mother was that she was the kindest woman she had ever met, and his father was always kind but distant, even more so after being shunned by the village, except for the last few days, those few days Sakumo, his father was nothing but kind and caring, every need Kakashi had was seen to, he was always there, those few days, before his suicide. Since then Kakashi hated being fussed over, he had to do everything for himself. The Door opened but neither Mikoto nor Fugaku answered, instead there stood a young dark haired boy, about five years old.
Kakashi: Aah Hello Itachi
Itachi: My father isn't home, he's dealing with... Itachi's eyes glance down to the baby held in Kakashi's hands. Is that?
Kakashi: Yes, the son of the Hokage, This is *He holds Naruto up so Itachi can see him more clearly* Naruto Uzumaki, And actually I'm looking for your mother.
Itachi silently opens the door clearly for Kakashi to walk through
Itachi: She's right through there, she's exhausted.
Kakashi: In that case I won't stay long, thankyou.
Itachi: No please, stay as long as you like, she's been so worried about him, Naruto. Seeing him will put her at ease, maybe she'll get some sleep...
Itachi begins to walk upstairs, and Kakashi knocks on the door leading to the living room
Mikoto: Come in.
