This is such an absurdly bizarre comment. You put so much value in romance that it's borderline silly.
It's a totally valid to place to take the Sasu/Saku relationship once you're locked into it. It secures Sasuke as a human and brings up a relevant point that the manga hasn't come back to. Furthering your clan is a big deal and Sasuke is a little curious into how his lineage continues.
It also paints Sasuke in a positive light? If Naruto Gaiden were to be Uchiha-family drama based (which it already was) then why not go that one step further?
