If he taught her how to gamble he must've been still alive when she was born. Hashirama does not look like your typical grandpa, and it's weird because all the other edo tensei were brought back to life looking the same as when they died. Also how long was he hogake? If his little brother took the seat right after him, they were both young. Because in that one photo when the entire senju clan is together, they don't look that far apart in age, I'd say 5 to 6 years at most? I guess my question is HOW OLD WAS HASHIRAMA WHEN HE STOPPED BEING HOGAKE?:shrug:

I guess Hashi was Hokage for a year or two then the battle of the VOTE happened and after that Tobirama took over because clearly Hashirama wasn't a good leader [at least in comparison with Tobirama]

Is that really fair to say Tobirama was a better Hokage then Hashirama? They just have different ideals on what was good for the village and the Uchiha. Much like Hiruzen and Danzo. Not saying Tobirama was the same as Danzo, but their methods were somewhat similar.

Hashirama ruled by offering peace to the Uchiha. Tobirama sought to focus all that arrogance and "love"as he called it, by making their clan jailors and enforcers. Nothing wrong with how either of them ruled, just conflicting ideals.

been wanting to make a thread about this. and we see tsunade being trained by saru and you have to wonder is it possible that the 1st died after the second cause saru was a teen when he bacame hokage. tsunade could not have been born yet and we've see tsunade at maybe age 3 or something with hashi. kishi might not be the best at timelines lol

And yeah Hashi > Tobirama > Sarutobi were probably close together in time relatively speaking. Hashi wasn't probably Hokage for long and neither was Tobirama probably. They lived in tumultuous times. Sarutobi was clearly the outlier and longest reigning hokage

No, at the beginning of the series she is 50, now she is 54. :y

Ok is tsunade was born 54 years ago and the battle for first hogake happened 80 years ago that must mean that he was barley even 30 years old when she was born, and that means he wasn't hogake for very long before his brother became hogake... about a year, and that he died very young since he wasn't around, when tsunade lost her boyfriend because she looked about 20, making her grandpa around the age of 50 I still don't get how he did not age at all from when he fought Madara 'til his grandchild was born 'til his brother became the next hogake 'til his death because he didn't look so old in edo tensei form
