Orochimaru can't react to Ay but he can survive his attacks with his body replacement technique.. if Jiraiya tried to fight hand to hand or in base he'd lose as well but the difference between Tsunade and the other two is that they are more versatile and posses mid-long range jutsu while tsunade focuses on taijutsu.. if they had equal speed Tsunade would own Ay easily but since Ay is way faster than her she can't hit him unless he either tries grapple her or if she somehow sets him up with her summons or whatever.

I recall myself using this argument to defend Tsunade.... while you were trying to prove Ay can blitz her easily.

Reaction means responding.. Sadly Tsunade with just 1 finger can do a whole of damage to Ay and redirect his hit.

So what does versatility have anything to do with getting blitzed and not being able to react to it. And for them to counter Ay's speed with their attacks that require seals.. they would need reaction timing...

As for the grapples.... useless against Tsunade since she can break them with superior strength.
