Already said that's a rusty Naruto who didn't think Shin's jutsu would work on Sasuke as he stated himself. The thread mentioned VoTE2 Naruto who is not rusty at all. Sasuke not noticing the curse mark made by Shin on his own sword after Naruto told him not to let his guard down, Naruto only had to watch the kids. In a fight, Sasuke wouldn't even be in his Kurama head to attack him, Naruto let him in since he's not his enemy. Sorry but fail attempt since I know you know this.

Weak counter. You know full well Masashi made sure Sasuke lost his sword during the Kaguya battle for a reason.



Canon fact - Swords can pierce Naruto. Against Orochimaru Naruto was in four tails mode, chakra surrounded his body, whereas in the new chapter Naruto in BSM had no chakra surrounding him hence getting pierced so easily.




Naruto was stabbed through the stomach which made him feel extreme pain, even the Kyuubi avatar disappeared.

If he was stabbed through the heart like Sasuke easily did to Madara, then Naruto would be dead. Madara only survived cause he was the Juubi's Jin.



Nah, look at his face,and notice how the Kyuubi avatar dissapeared. You logically can't act like he tanked it.

If that was the case then Masashi wouldn't have made sure Sasuke lost his sword before their battle.



Sasuke took out the Gudoudama with 3 arrows. Also how would Naruto, with no expereince besided the few seconds he used them on Madara be able to keep up with Sasuke who is a highly skilled Swordsmen?

Besides, the battle would have ended before Sasuke even decided to take chakra from the Bijuu.



He didn't tank it. Naruto felt extreme pain,and the Kyuubi avatar de-activated. Tanking would be what Madara did - he felt no pain whatsoever, calmy thought about things then simply pulled the sword out.



It obviously would, if it wouldn't then Masashi wouldn't have made Sasuke lose it right before fighting Naruto.



It's simple, remember when Sasuke teleported behind Naruto,and hit him with Chidori? If he had his sword he could have peirced it through Naruto.

If I had something as ineffectual as a sword during such a giant battle i'd throw it away instantly, it'd just take up an entire hand that could save my life.

1.) stuff doesnt pierce naruto thanks to earlier points made in normal forms
2.) base Naruto from part 1 could survive that hit effortlessly, he naturally heals and the sword is hardly fatal- he literally jokes about it.
3.) Sasuke does not have this Shin ability
4.) It only worked on Naruto because it was a surprise attack and Sasuke was meant to be dealing with it
5.) Naruto was still fresh and neither had gotten rusty by the time of VOTE2.
