His sword really did chop juubi Jin madara straight in half, and giant lava rasen shuriken couldn't.
Oh and the shrunken hit before he absorbed the shinju and failed, sasuke cut shinju Jin madara in half, which is even better.
Yes, I do believe that Sasuke would have won. The fight wouldn't be that different from the get go, but from the moment where both couldn't depend on some kinda form (RSM, Susano'o) and had to fight casually, Sasuke would've won if he had his sword.

I don't see how everyone think the sword "negged" him ! Just because sasuke and naruto were stabbed doesn't mean they got negged
They tanked it easily and removed the weapons later like it was nothing . All that without healing .
I think people are overreacting at this chapter .

If Sasuke had his sword:
1-He would've teleported inside kurama/ashura avatar exactly behind naruto
2-make chidori run through his sword making it 10x sharper
3-pierce naruto's skull like butter.

Kishimoto knew it would be too easy for Sasuke to slice and dice Naruto which is why he had to come up with a bull**** way for him to lose his sword.

So you're using a version of Naruto where he hasn't trained hard as he use too for years to compare him to a version of Naruto who had trained hard for years then months? Also Naruto's TSBs would cut through Sasuke sword and chidori sword neg diff especially if it was capable of cutting Susanoo when Juubito tried attacking Naruto. Naruto had 3 TSBs in VoTE and even then he can coat his kunai's with his wind chakra as Asuma taught him so his wind kunai's would cut through Sasuke Chidori sword.
Madara's body isn't coated with chakra like Naruto's so yes he has more defense as shown when Naruto in KM tanked Madara's and Obito's Katon jutsus, Juubi's Storm attack, caught swords while protecting Hinata, and blocked A's punch that can crack Susanoo's rib. Senjutsu increased Naruto's durability to the point that falling into a bed of spikes did nothing to him so Sage Senjutsu added to Kurama's chakra only increases that durability. Simply letting his guard down is why he was struck and that's because he didn't think Shin could pull that over on Sasuke so that falls mostly on Sasuke than Naruto.

Weak counter. You know full well Masashi made sure Sasuke lost his sword during the Kaguya battle for a reason.
Canon fact - Swords can pierce Naruto. Against Orochimaru Naruto was in four tails mode, chakra surrounded his body, whereas in the new chapter Naruto in BSM had no chakra surrounding him hence getting pierced so easily.

If he was stabbed through the heart like Sasuke easily did to Madara, then Naruto would be dead. Madara only survived cause he was the Juubi's Jin.

Sasuke took out the Gudoudama with 3 arrows. Also how would Naruto, with no expereince besided the few seconds he used them on Madara be able to keep up with Sasuke who is a highly skilled Swordsmen?

Besides, the battle would have ended before Sasuke even decided to take chakra from the Bijuu.
He didn't tank it. Naruto felt extreme pain,and the Kyuubi avatar de-activated. Tanking would be what Madara did - he felt no pain whatsoever, calmy thought about things then simply pulled the sword out.
It obviously would, if it wouldn't then Masashi wouldn't have made Sasuke lose it right before fighting Naruto.
It's simple, remember when Sasuke teleported behind Naruto,and hit him with Chidori? If he had his sword he could have peirced it through Naruto.

Depends if Sasuke kept up his training. Gotta say, Naruto supposed to be in his utmost prime and he's not even 40. Severely disappointing.
