I'd be really curious about that. What if it had some kind of Kirin like ability where Naruto could actively control it and guide it from where he wants? Pretty awesome to think about.

Personally I think that it'd be like a frs that explodes and leaves ones electrical systems messed up like that one technique tsunade used on Kabuto, except much worse, like limbs being numbed and paralyzed by electricity

Then it would be LSRS. Actually, it would likely turn lightning into thousands of electrical microblades. Each paralyzes and pierces through cellular structures.

Possibly, but chidori uses shape manipulation too, and Kakashi perfected it into the condensed version called Raikiri, which is used for assassination.
