That must mean that a lightning rasengan must be a lot stronger than chidori isnt it?
Argue.

Probably, Regular Rasengan = Chidori so adding an element to it would make it hella stronger

Minato is just a boss he was clever enough to create a jutsu which is inspired by the tailed beast bomb.

My guess is it would be equivalent to the Rasen Shuriken.... just with lightning instead of wind. So yea it would be stronger than chidori

Feeling bad for Sasuke using still regular Chidori instead of a Rasengan combination.

A successful raiton rasengan would definitely be stronger than a regular chidori.

Of course it would be, what kind of question is that? It's like asking if a flame get's bigger if you put gasoline on it Lol

If chidori is a bullet, a lightning rasengan would be an explosive bullet

Yes it would be. Question is would it be stronger than Rasenshuriken?

Well fundamentally, it would have and elemental advantage so technically it would be, but scaled power would probably be the same. FRS would work under different circumstances (like dispersing to cover a wide AoE), whereas this theoretical Raiton Rasenshuriken would be better under other circumstances. Depending on how it functioned of course.

I don't mean a Rasenshuriken vs a Lightning infused Rasengan.
I mean which would bust a bigger target

Again, that would come down to how the Lightning Rasenshuriken would function.

Agreed, rasenshuriken developed the ability to sever the connections between ones chakra network, for all we know each element could have effects just as devastating as that, and sm gives it even more potential.

I'd be really curious about that. What if it had some kind of Kirin like ability where Naruto could actively control it and guide it from where he wants? Pretty awesome to think about.

I don't think so, the rotation motion doesn't compliment lightning like it does with wind or water...
Sasuke's lightning sword (the one he used to cut Gyuuki's tail off) is the equivalent of rasengan tho..
