he might actually be stronger at this point he could just fuse with ma and pa and be sage mode all day, however I doubt he'd have gotten to the point where Jiraiya trained him without the fox in part 1, but hey every main character needs a dues ex machina gimmick ever since the days of gohan.

I think Jiraiya was the biggest help for Naruto to be honest, without him I think Naruto would suck. Yes, I know Kyuubi saved him a million times, but if we're talking about who helped Naruto become a more skilled shinobi I say Jiraiya is mostly responsible. And to answer your question, I think he would be a lot less powerful but all around more well-rounded.

True dat! to the fact the he would be a corpse by now were it not for Kyuubi.
But maybe not. He would have had a different life altogether remember. He wouldn't have been subjugated at all without the Kyuubi, so maybe would have studied harder and also known who is parent's were and been inspired. Too many factors to consider. But generally speaking I think he would not be as strong, but have more techniques and tactics.

Though he would have that insane stamina still since its natural even without the fox, he won't have the raw power of the Kyuubi. Maybe his sage mode would be perfect, but other than that, he doesn't have much else. If he doesn't have kyuubi, can we assume that Minato and Kushina would be alive? If so, Naruto would have FTG and Sealing techniques. Perhaps he would be a better ninja

hard to say. if he didn't have the kyuubi, minato would still be alive. he'd have much better chakra control as a kid as the kyuubi wouldn't mess it up. so he wouldn't have beaten haku or neji, but he would be a much better ninja at that point in time. and later on he would have taken sm even further, maybe to a point where he could maintain it for longer because of ma and pa and beat pain w/o the kyuubi, who knows. with minato to teach him maybe he would have focused more on seals and wind jutsu more, and smarts haha.
