And who said Itachi was blind? Itachi died because he was diseased. I thought the coughing of blood made this clear.

hell even if Izuna Uchiha is blind he still powerful as hell, he was right next to madara in power before he when blind so that means he still would be a beast and if you can bring your brother back from the dead blind or not wouldn't you.

Nah, Tobi is most likely the Elder Son or Izuna. It just helps having someone as useful as Zetsu around so you can get an extra pair of limbs. One reason why I believe he is Izuna is because of his eye when he has his mask on, its similar.
