Madara keep on insisting that he should be revived by Nagato's Rinnetensei.
If Madara was revived by Nagato's Rinnetensei, do you think he'll be young as he is in the 4th War and have his Rinnegan?

Perhaps he wanted to be revived with it so that he has his own free will, unlike with the Edo Tensei. And that all other things were unimportant

I would think that when he was revived he might come back with a little more youth but I have to think that he would not have his eyes. He would need to take those back from Nagato. It very well could be a bi-product of the rinne tensei that the one who casts the jutsu dies so it would be easy for him to take his eyes back. Once he was revived he could very easily use human path and preta path to regain his youth even if he was not revived that way. So in short I do not think it would matter except that reviving him would have cured all of his wounds and sicknesses.

That very question has kept me up at night many times. I mean they had his body and everything!!!!
Maybe they realized he was more powerful as a martyr than he would have been if they brought him back to life. If that in death he created a movement that took them toward peace that his resurrection would have defeated.
