If kishimoto decided to write a new Naruto manga what'll happen to Boruto

Now let me tell you it's not impossible I mean Manga creators do that.Take Akira Toriyama for example he literally make GT a Non Canon story or a story of a different timeline.

I mean it makes a lot of sense to think about this possibility I mean if Kishimoto really was serious about Boruto he wouldn't have made it a monthly manga or let anime creators make their own changes believe it or not but Kishimoto used to have some part in filler Naruto content.

Just think about it monthly manga means 26 chapters in 2 and a half years, 50 chapters in 5 years, We all will grow up and get married when Boruto will have a fight with Kawaki as an adult.

It just make one thing clear Kishimoto wanted rest but fans were bugging him and he got greedy so he called his assistant tell him to make a manga on Naruto's son as a limited fan service.

What do you think will happen to Boruto manga if this is true....

It will be exactly where it is. A badly written show with mediocre art that only survives due to the old gen focus and it would still have fanbase full of kids that think Boruto is the last drop of water in the desert.

Ranking? Irrelevant.
Rating? Irrelevant.

The show is mediocre to the point they rehashed the movie arc once again, filled it with filler scenes and had to hire a bunch of talented animators in order to create some hype on the www.

So if Kishimoto did something related to Naruto, it would probably surpass in a blink of an eye this half-assed sequel.

Did he? Well if he did, then there was no point of asking the question that you did in the OP. But I also want to note that GT was overall disliked, boring and had an ending that couldn’t be built upon. It was better to scrap it tbh, although Super is literal shit imho.

Simply put, it depends on how Boruto ends and how the fans react to it.

Despite this, kishi has gone out of his way to prove his involvement in it while Toriyama did the opposite. Boruto the movie, and gaiden are very much kishis... oh and the last. They’ve gone out of their way numerous times to tell us this. Toriyama has nothing, and wanted nothing to do with GT. I don’t even think he did any of the character designs

that'll never happen. kishi has shit tons of other projects he would rather work on.

he ain't touching Naruto series as a main creator anymore. at best, supervising and creating some illustrations here and there.

They take the dragon ball super route and set a series in the time skip, either in the 2 years between shippuden and the last or the 14 years between the last and Boruto. Along the way they contradict boruto as much as they want but never once say its no longer cannon so they can use it for games and stuff, note while super as contradicted the f*** out of GT, they haven't come out and stated GT to be non canon, they still want to use ssj4 for video games and dragon ball heros. And hell if they made broly canon I can see them bringing ssj4 back in some fashion too. Even if we go past the end of Z best bet they won't go into GT's time period (5 years after the end of Z) if boruto stuff has some things fans loved they are bound to just shut their mouths and just contradict boruto as much as they want while leaving it in a grey area so they can use it still for video games.

Or kishi comes back starts at the boruto movie and just changes everything, maybe taking some stuff for the boruto anime.
