If she didn't fight then it didn't effect the 1v1 fight status, she was nothing more than a tool used by one of the combatants. If Luffy had picked up an unconscious body and threw it at Kata is it now not a 1v1 because he used another person or did Luffy use someone as a weapon?

What's with the mental gymnastics? Luffy used her ability, he escaped the mirrorworld when he ran out of haki after G4 ran out. He would have lost if he didn't.

Throwing someone and using someone's devil fruit ability is the same things....yep sure.

It's stil using something if the person didn't actually engage in the fight. You're the one trying to twist it do it's not a 1v1 fight, Brulee didn't involve herself she was used against her will not like when Gatz help Luffy run away, Luffy got away through his own efforts by utilizing a nearby opponents ability against them. True he would have lost if he hadn't done that no one's arguing that but that doesn't make the fight 2v1 just because he used her ability for a moment in the fight.
