Without Madara being their to handle the 5 kages, Obito would have been demolished by Tsunade, A, Mei, Onoki, and Gaara, with Naruto and Bee to top it off.

Obito would still either use his rinnegan to revive madara then madara would just use mazou and take Naruto and bee, or I mean obito could just prepare the juubi by himself and judging by his words he was going to initiate IT immediately, madara was the reason the juubi battle was prolonged. Also if kabuto didn't help obito then itachi would've never came and sasuke would still be hell bent on destroying the leaf, gaara wouldn't have gold sand from his father, and the five kage would have no reason to come to battle until juubito comes and only if juubito comes, also no itachi would be equivalent to no orochimaru which equals no four kages which means, juubito the coolest guy solos Narutoverse

Nope, i'm a huge Kabuto fan and know that Obito was planned. The war was simply a plan to lure out the 8 and 9 tails, he achieved the Rikudou all on his own and had the Six Paths Jin & the Gedo Mazu. The war simply wouldn't have gone the same way and would've been less battle and more hunt, with BZ playing a bigger role too, not wasting time pretending to hunt the Feudal Lords.

Kabuto also vastly improved the army and made it into more of a conflict than a raid/trap disguised as a war.
