As for me, personally I think he'd give both Obito a hard time with Tsukiyomi. And also with proper teamwork with the Shinobi Alliance, he'd seal Madara with the Totsuka Blade.

That's a total cop-out made up by his fans. Itachi had absolutely no reason to skimp on defense. If itachi was killed it would give Kabuto the chance to override his talisman. This actually came really close to happening because itachi was careless. This is the major reason he needed sasuke there to bail him out when he was overwhelmed. In a situation like that where two elite Uchiha are still getting overwhelmed and killed multiple times there is no way someone would volunteerly leave themselves open and incapacitated. That's just bad strategy.....I assume you don't think itachi is a bad strategist?

It would've made little to no difference, as he would've passed on upon the releasing of ET. Even if he stayed after ET's deactivation, he would've been taken out quickly by Juubito or Juudara.

That or more likely why he passed sasuke, that's no coincidence. Probably with the help of Nagato to sense him.

You do realize Itachi was not allowed to kill Kabuto? He was holding because otherwise Edo Tensei would never end, if Kabuto was dead.
