If Itachi were alive with Eternal Mangekyou, how would the 4th Ninja War change?

Itachi would have been able to solo Juubidara with EMS, unlike his brother, who got fodderized by a one-eyed Madara.

He would have been killed by Kabuto. Kabuto killed itachi like 3 times in that fight before he even got izanami up and running. EMS doesn't really add anything better as seen by sasuke.

You don't think Itachi knew exactly what he was doing in that fight though? He didn't want to kill Kabuto for a number of reasons, one being that he wanted to help him. One of his defining characteristics is that he is always in control, which I believe he was in that fight 100%.

That being said....I love Kabuto and wish he didn't just disappear after pumping Sasuke full of HP.

And for the record, let's assume EMS Sasuke's a good guy, having been persuaded to help the alliance. Please list what you think Itachi would change.

As for me, personally I think he'd give both Obito a hard time with Tsukiyomi. And also with proper teamwork with the Shinobi Alliance, he'd seal Madara with the Totsuka Blade.

Itachi wouldn't have EMS, he would need Sasuke to get MS which happened after Itachi died and Sasuke heard the truth about Itachi so even if Itachi beat Sasuke and took his eyes, it would be of 3 tomoes and not MS. To give Itachi EMS would change the story completely since Sasuke joined Akatsuki after gaining his MS and was sent to capture Bee but he captured a small portion of the 8 tails chakra which made it possible for the Juubi to be made and caused Juubito and Juubidara to be made.

Lets say Itachi it somehow worked out to Itachi have EMS and Sasuke having EMS too, Itachi would still have illness and a lower stamina than he would without the illness. We do see that the MS doesn't have noticeable side effects like MS did from what we seen of Sasuke so Itachi wouldn't have to worry about that at least. But if Itachi was alive then would he still be in Akatsuki? If Itachi was still in Akatsuki then Obito wouldn't get his hands on Sasuke and Sasuke wouldn't have fought Bee or attack the Kage summit.

Obito had Sasuke attack to have him over use his eyes and stir things up to start the war.We don't know if Itachi would stay in Akatuki or not but seeing how he didn't want Sasuke to know the truth, he most likely would have stayed and with Itachi alive that would means Obito's deal with him is still active so no Pein arc or at least not in the same way.

I can't overlook that and say what Itachi might have done since things wouldn't turn out the same way. I don't see Itachi beating Obito, Madara, Naruto, Sasuke or the edo Kages since he does still have his illness so can't go all out without it doing it's damage to him. Nor could he last is a prolong fight, he would last longer than MS Itachi but not by a large margin.
