Obviously it changed him. He was traumatized during the massacre, which you can tell when he murders his parents and is forced to use tsukuyomi on Sasuke.

He was a changed person, but his actions were justified and you didn't really elaborate on why this would cause him to be exiled

I thought it would be common sense on why he would be exiled.

The whole Ninja-nation fears Itachi for what he did, no one knows the truth.

They can't have a man like that return back to society, Itachi knew this when he silenced the clan.

Think back to when Sasuke went to that dango shop and got angry at those shinobi talking bad about his brother.

I'm sorry please tell me more on how the Uchiha clan killed civilians for no reason?

Guilty until proven otherwise. The only half-biased views are your's containing nothing but Itachi-fandom.

XD you obviously don't know who i am or you would realize how retarded that comment you just made is. I don't like Itachi at all!

I dislike the Uchiha as whole XD

But I recognized what Itachi did. He prevent them from spilling blood. The night he killed them was the night they were going to execute their coup de tat. or did you miss that part. The slaughter of one clan to save the lives of others. Not saying it was the right solution, but it was an effective one.

I could imagine a scene where a weary Naruto is walking towards the Hokage's office. He puts the key in the door and turns the handle, there's a look of shock on Naruto's face. Someone is in the Hokage seat.

Naruto: But how? You're dead! Not only that...I'm the Hokage now!
Itachi: I beg to differ...

*Itachi totsukas Naruto and erases his existence as Hokage. The carving of Naruto on the mountain is replaced with the face of Itachi.*

The end.

No, I understand who you are completely.

Is is you who doesn't understand. In the justice system of the logical man or woman. You are not proven guilty for anything until the act is committed. Saying the Uchiha Clan were going to massacare the Shinobi Village is false until they had actually committed into doing so. They were humane and Itachi was forced to pick a non-reasonable solution to end this "precognition" of war.

It started and ended on death. Yet you are still debating on what line of proposition?

He murdered hundreds of innocent clan members (For a reason) but that doesn't justify his actions.

Naruto would exile him.

Yes let the man who killed her grandparents, and the rest of her linage teach her about morals*.

His actions are justified, considering there were no other less violent options...something confirmed once again even in the latest databook.

-If he didn't commit the crime, his clan was set to be slaughtered with all included regardless. He had no choice over whether they died or not. Simply in the manner (sleeping and by his hands... or slaughtered in broad daylight in a war).

-He protected the Uchiha's reputation by carrying out the deed himself. No one know they were a traitorous clan that was concerned with their self-gain only.

-He saved the one innocent Uchiha that he could, Sasuke. And because of that- the Uchiha lineage can continue through Sarada.

-He prevented a civil war canonically.

-And he possibly prevented a shinobi world war during his time.

-He did physically commit the act, however, the blood is metaphorically on the hands of Konoha echelons and his own clan members (Sarada's grandparents, and all adults). They're the ones that brought it to that point. The Uchiha clan is just as much at fault for their fate as the Konoha echelons were, they aren't innocent and there's no way around that fact.

-Itachi would continue life as a nukenin if he were revived, solely because the truth can't ever be revealed about the incident since that would leave the Uchiha's reputation in ruins and they'd be hated... instead of adored as a noble clan like they are today. Itachi doesn't care for titles. He's not going to let the truth revealed so that he can be known as the tragic hero/antihero that he is.

@bold- It was stated that the Uchiha were willing to let a war go down and have a countless number of innocents killed in the process. Such a matter was of no concern to them as long as they acquired complete control of the village regardless of whether the inhabitants wanted it or not. This is hardly humane.

What you're saying is basically the equivalent of stating "Anyone who makes threats is a joke". Countries, associations, groups, etc in real life take preemptive measures to stop threats all the time. No one waits until the tragedy actually happens to act, because then it's too late.

As for the latter part of the bold, I agree on that. Hiruzen should have just ignored Danzo's/Koharu's/Homura's objections and talked to Fugaku the same day he heard of the coup plan. He could have stopped the bloodshed, but was too lenient and failed to do so. But, this makes sense since the Uchiha massacre scenario was just thought-up so that Sasuke could have an interesting plot line.

ot: I'd rather have him resting in peace since he's been through alot and suffered so much in order to protect those around him. But, if he had to be alive... it would be cool if he taught Sarada about philosophical matters and what's really important (the safety of people> one's own pride). I wouldn't care for him being 8th Hokage or anything like that. It's a time of peace now, Hokage is just a filler/paperwork position at the moment. Besides, he was the true Hokage for the entire series, so that's enough.

Edit: He should be a hair specialist. He can be an uncle, nukenin, and that too. He's got a future in that. U_U
