Indeed. It would be nice if Itachi got to play the role of a true family member the way he would probably prefer than what he had to do in his previous life. Plus, I think Itachi would make a great teacher. Nice guy, pretty smart and strong, and pretty well-balanced. He could definitely bring out whatever potential Salada has.

His father, mother, Kakashi, and lastly Jiraiya showed him how to be a proper man and Hokage.

Killing all of those people change you, and the only thing that clung him onto humanity was Sasuke. He is not the man you think he is, because of the blood he spilled. Obviously it changed him. He was traumatized during the massacre, which you can tell when he murders his parents and is forced to use tsukuyomi on Sasuke.

He was a changed person, but his actions were justified and you didn't really elaborate on why this would cause him to be exiled
