dude tobi even states itachi implanted amaterasu in your left eye to kill me at point sight so he had no contact with tobi wen he shows sasuke his sharingan it even turns to itachi's ms sharingan in his left eye and itachi's planed felled and i bet if sasuke saw tobi sharingan once again itachi ' ms will activate on its own again thats all it was a security blanket against tobi nothing more. if sasuke never met tobi all he would have is a self avtivated itachi ms and you now you awaken MS wen you lose someone close are dear to you saw how sasuke was grieving for itachi remembering all the times he had with him then after you see him awakens his ms wouldn't that make more sense -_-

. And Itachi was still the closest to Sasuke, Sasuke stated himself that his bond with Itachi was the only one he didn't cut. he said this to Naruto when they first meet. Sasuke would have gotten his MS in time just like how Kakashi got his after the time skip. We all know Kakashi mourns Obito's,Rin's and Minato's death everyday (which is why he is always late) and he even blames himself for Obito's death because a rock hit him in his blind spot and Obito pushed him out of the way of the falling rocks. And you're wrong, Itachi planned for Sasuke to get MS which is why he told sasuke over and over "meet me when you have the same eyes as me" and planned to die by Sasuke's hands. Itachi told Sasuke about the EMS and how to get it for a reason, Sasuke killing him would awaken Sasuke MS and he'll have Itachi eyes. Sasuke was actaully mourning Itachi's death as you can see he's sulking and not happy to achieve his revenge, he's the last living Uchiha according to him.
