No. He just implanted the Amaterasu into him. He made it so that it would activate if Tobi ever showed Sasuke his face.

Just did some more research it says one must feel the emotion of losing a friend or family, as merely killing them or watching them die will not activate it.When sauske defeated itachi he did not feel the emotion of losing a friend or family just accomplishing his goal which would not lead to ms!!!

He was upset about Itachi's death, no question about it.

Itachi knew Sasuke still felt strongly towards him. He used Sasuke's hate & revenge as fuel to influence Sasuke into killing the one he cared about most. This resulted in MS. He implanted one technique which may have taken Sasuke a while to learn. He did it to avoid Tobi getting near Sasuke. Sasuke had still awoken the ability to gain MS though.

No. My point is that in losing the person Sasuke felt closest to and the greatest loss over, he managed to awaken the MS.

Even though Sasuke still loved his brother and had deeply set emotions and bonds with him, the hatred he felt towards him was stronger than that.

The hatred is what drove Sasuke, once Itachi died though, the sadness of the loss would still become apparent.

SAsuke did not felt strongly towards itacho who told you that?sasuke wouldnt have found out that itachi was the closest one who cared about him the most you claim he might have still had feeling for itachi maybe but that would not be inuff to awaken the ms without him realizing the truth

when Sasuke was still a child everyone in the village used to praise Itachi for being such a prodigy, and his father didn't care about his existence(no father's love for Sasuke), and we barely saw him talking to his mother twice,

It was all about Itachi....the one and only who cared fo Sasuke so much,
he can't hate him 100%,just no way,.....and Sasuke wasn't always talking about it,
most of the time he clenched his teeth out of anger(couldn't he be thinking to himself at such moments : 'Itachi,........why did you do that?!' rather than :'Itachi,.....I hate you!'
give it a thought,....

Another way of looking a it,is to match the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke to the one between Itachi and Sasuke;
Naruto was annoyed by Sasuke's existence,though,admired him,and wanted to be as strong and as popular as him, eventually learned to like him,..
then after sometime Sasuke leaves the village and do dirty deeds here and there,
why doesn't Naruto hate Sasuke 100%? Why does he care for a screwed person?

Flashbacks aren't some annoying historical class,they exist for a reason,...
